Week 4:

I probably had my best studying week thus far the past 7 days, I on average studied 3 to 4 hours almost each day, with the exception of one day where I studied only 2 hours. I plowed through the remaining Yaeger CPA Review DVDs and now I plan on cramming MCQ's and reviewing notes for the next 2 weeks until exam day.

It took me almost a month, but I think I am finally in a good “groove” for studying. It's really hard, staying focused, taking notes, but you have to have perseverance, it's not fun stuff, but to study effectively you need be mentally in the game.

When you're feeling out of focus, try to remember the reason you're taking the test in the first place. For most of us, that's probably to earn more money to take care of our family.

Try and think a year from now what you want to be doing, probably not this, so you might as well go all in now and not half-ass it, as I've been guilty of in the past.

There's no time like the present.

14 days to go until FAR.

I am loving all these posts by CPA test takers. It gives me motivation to study as hard as they do. Thanks!
