Did you bother watching the hotspot videos for REG? I’m not sure if I’m wasting my time or not, some seem to be outdated. Plus i find them extremely boring since Bob only does a few of them. I have the 2012 REG book and software. Did you start with business law and work your way through the book? I could possibly be starting a new job in a few weeks and have my exam scheduled the day after memorial day. I’m not sure if i should try and intertwine the business law chapters with tax chapters so the two topics stay fresh in my memory, or do tax first then law or law first then tax. Since you have been using Bisk as well, what are your suggestions? Anyone’s input is welcome as well.

I didn't have the hotspot videos. I only watched the lectures that came with the Classic Package. They were boring enough. Gag, those lecturers made me want to shoot myself. Yes, I went through the material straight through, front half business law, last half tax. I know lots of people have very different experiences, but I'd say at least half if not more of my exam was on the business law half. I had heard that most people got little business law, in line with the “18-20% business law” standard, but that was definitely not my experience. It could be, however, that I missed some Blaw questions in the first testlet so they gave me more in succeeding ones. Anyway, bottom line is, don't skip it.

As for which to do first, it really depends on what kind of student you are. If you are the type that takes notes and then commits all that information to memory, you would be fine with reviewing every other day. If you're the type that just does lots and lots of MCQs, then just do progress quizzes over previous chapters every few days.

Sorry I just now saw this. If you ever need me directly, my email is in my profile. It's disguised to foil emailbots.
