Here it is :

Not the least bit surprised---I write this as a proud peer of Yankee and Peanut. Keep it up! The finish line is within sight---are you going to jog the last stretch? Nope...you're going to sprint until the end---dig down deep, its going to take determination and the same work ethic the other 3 passing scores required. I am happy for you both, but we aint poppin champagne just yet....finish strong! I'll be here pulling for you, with a bottle of champagne waiting. (BakedCPA)

Took 1 practice exam and got like a 76 or something. Actual exam was an 88.

I felt Becker prepared me well for almost all the MCQs I saw on the exam. The cost accounting section is waay harder in thereview versus what I saw on exam day.

He is such a kind soul. Of course since I am such an old lady, it was waterworks for me. OIY!!

@PJ, I think you're talking about the Becker simulated exam? Here are my scores below

Simulated exam #1
Testlet 1 83
Testlet 2 79
Testlet 3 66

Simulated exam #2
Testlet 1 79
Testlet 2 66
Testlet 3 41 (lol)

79 on the actual exam. I think the Becker final exams are really good practice for the actual exam. Just don't let it destroy your confidence if you do not do well

@Veronica, I'm considering taking the final review course in Dallas for REG. I'm hoping it will get me over that hump. Can you give me your thoughts on the course? Obviously you passed, so it was worth it, but any other feedback? Sorry to hijack the BEC thread...

Pretty much similar with more in depth questions in BEC. As long as you know the formula, you will do fine. Also some of the MCQ need your logic thinking so you just have to be mindful about choosing the right answer. I took BEC twice, the first one was 2005 and I passed with 75. However I did not finish it so I have to take everything again back in 2011. I passed BEC the second time with 76, both instances I used Becker. Don't forget to follow Becker guidelines on the writing, it helps me to get the comparable score since writing is not my strongest skill.

AUD - 79
FAR - 79
BEC - 76
REG - 73, 78

I used Becker. I took the Final Review course in Dallas which finally pushed me over the 75 hump. Unfortunately, or fortunately for me, the teacher did not teach out of the Becker book or Becker Final Review book. She taught variances in a completely different way and it finally clicked with me. BEC was really difficult for me for some reason... it all depends on you.

Currently for 2012, there are only 3 sims for BEC and they are all writing related...correct?

Also, is there 24 MCQ's per section or 30?

Hang in there givemesleep. NO fraternity or sorority has a hazing that is more brutal than this. I think you're right where you should be 3 weeks out!

@givemesleep, Please don't give up! You're doing just fine! 70s are good scores and 3 weeks is still plenty of time. I was scoring in the 70s, some lower going into the exam and it turned out just fine. Just hang in there, we all get those days where we want to throw in the towel. Take a day off for yourself and then jump back into the studies. I can't tell you how many days I had like that. I just took some "me" time even if it took a bite out of my study time. I wasn't happy getting back to the studies, but knowing that there IS an end to this madness made me keep going at it.
