Needless to say copious amounts of alcohol will be consumed tonight!!! Can't wait for that.</p> <p>The journey to passing the CPA exam is long, lonely, and extremely difficult. Difficult not in terms of material, although that is difficult in some areas. But difficult mentally, because it's just you in the library, home desk, or late after work alone in your cubicle. No one really "gets" it, except for your A71 family!! Everyone else is out having a good time and you have to study. If you're thinking about giving up, DON'T!!! This is what the exam is designed to do, weed out the CPAs from the accountants.</p> <p>I took BEC twice, AUD, FAR, and REG 4 times. This process took me a little over a year. Compared to some veterans on this site my journey was a cake walk.</p> <p>During studying if you need a break take it! When you're tired, START WRITING THINGS DOWN WITH A PEN!! &lt;&lt; This actually slows your brain down and you won't skim over things because you're tired.</p> <p>At the end of this, you'll be glad that you stuck with it.
