The handbook should have all of the information you need, but yes, there are 4 or 5 forms that you'll need to fill out. You also have to have your boss sign off on your experience. I've heard that there is a discount on state level ethics material if we join? There are different options but looking to join the "associate" or "affiliate". Affiliate is supposedly $35? </p> <p>CalCPA Ethics Material - They seem to be the issuer of the ethics exam in CA. The ethics material prices said $150 for non-member, $125 for member. Are they referring to a CalCPA "Candidate" membership. Looks like for CAL CPA its free for the first year an $50 for 2nd? Then bumps up to the "Associate" afterwards which is close to $500. </p> <p>So, joining CalCPA makes sense now as we get a $25 discount for free...what is the benefit of joining the AICPA prior to actually getting licensed? Just curious if anyone has been there before. </p>
