A follow up to my last post...

I got a letter today dated 2/8 stating that my application has been approved. Still no actual license number, however. Now I send them $100 and fill out a postcard. Once I get that back (the postcard, obviously not the money), I'll be done. Then I can start on the 20 hours of CE I need in the next six months. Ugh.

I had the same experience as Tim94111. I mailed / submitted everything the week of Dec 14th. I tracked everything through the post office and the state board received it all prior to Dec 19th, however they didn't cash my check until Jan. 5th.

I then received a letter dated Jan 20th letting me know that the state had received all my info and are in the process of reviewing it and that it will be another 4-6 weeks etc... I guess they just have to drag it out as long as possible!

Anyone heard from the State of California yet??

I had a similar experience as Tim. I sent my application the day after my score became official (12/2), and had a yellow postcard after several weeks. My check cleared on 12/11. The letter letting me know that they had all the documents was dated 1/12. (That took a bit longer because they miscalculated some of my work experience as 1.5 months instead of 13.5, but I emailed a response and it was very quickly corrected.) My 4 - 6 week window is up next week. I feel like Ralphie waiting on his Little Orphan Annie secret decoder ring...

I did not hear from the board for 4 weeks after I sent in my application (Christmas and New Year holidays were in that time period).

I sent my application a day or two after I received my advisory score (around December 23).
I received a yellow postcard on Jan 20 that they received my application (4 weeks).
My check cleared my bank on Jan 22.
On Jan 28, I received a letter telling me that they have received all my required application docs and I will have application results in 4 to 6 weeks.

I was done with my exam 2 months ago. But as recommended by others, I waited for my score to switch from advisory to official. That took about a month and a half. About 2 weeks ago, I sent in my application to the board but haven't heard from them since. I checked my checking account and the check of 250 is still not deposited. I am starting to get worried that usps lost my mail or that there is something wrong with my application. It's funny how after stressing out about the exam results and the ethics exam and having the parters sign your experience... you are still worried if the application got there safely.

Did anyone in California have a similar experience?
