This is my first time posting, but I have been a stalker for over a year and gained so much valuable information from this forum.
Anyway, I applied for a government accounting position. I got a call from them last Thursday for a last minute skills test. I was studying for my BEC exam the next day, but they needed me to take the skills test that day so I did it. I was told that they had A LOT of applicants and were in the process of 2nd interviews with 6 other applicants.
That evening I received an email to schedule my interview for Monday. I did so online and then HR contacted me because they wanted to do the 1st and 2nd interview together and needed to start earlier to fit it all in.
I feel like the interviews went well.
So my question is this, is it a good sign? Since they were pretty much done with interviews and my resume showed up and they rushed me through the process? I really want this job. I have been at my current job for 12 years and am so ready for a change!
I think this is more excruciating than waiting for exam scores. They will let me know either way by Friday (same day as my last exam score, I hope!).
