I'm planning to take REG in February 2011. Would Becker 2009 be too outdated to use for this exam? I don't want to purchase a new course but I will if necessary.

2011 is shuffling content between sections a bit. I believe some of the professional responsibility stuff you'd see in your 2009 materials is actually being tested in AUD now. The tax and law topics should be fairly solid outside of year-specific amounts. Given the changes of 2011 it might be worth getting new materials. You might still use your Becker materials, but supplement with something else that you can pick up much cheaper.

offlineMemberI would pick up the 2011 wiley book (around $50 on amazon.com), the online test bank is only $80 as well I think, so definitely a good bargain for under $150. I would use the becker as a supplement, also download the updates for new laws and such for becker. I do agree with Dale and think that new books is the best way to go! Best of luck!
