2013 Wiley book good for FAR

    I passed FAR in 2014 and since lost credit. I take it on September. Has anything changes since then. Would the Wiley 2013 book be sufficient for my retake? Thanks ninjas

    From my understanding, there's been too much changes since then to work solely from the 2013 book. You may be able to use it and Google to find lists of changes each year to study from that way, but I don't think just the book will work.

    2013 is behind three years……really big risk. even though it's the most boring read you'll ever experience. but no spend the 40 – 50 bucks on amazon and get an updated edition.

    I have 2013 Wiley FAR book. I used it as a reference. As long as you have the latest online test bank, I think it should be okay. Reading the book doesn't really help anyway, but doing MCQs does make a difference.

    Should be fairly obvious what info is subject to change, vs. fundamental accounting principles that stay the same year after year.

    I wouldn't study with a 2013 book – that was authored in the fall of 2012.

    Just buy NINJA Book 🙂

    Yeah if you are about saving a $, I'd recommend Ninja. The book 97 + TB 47 is by far the cheapest on the market. Plus plenty of people pass w/ Ninja, so its effective. I think you can sample a chapter of the Ninja book before you commit
