    88 Reg on 3rd try, Amen! (1st attempt 69, 2nd attempt 73)

Practiced more SIMs and focused on patterns/keywords in MCQ. Used Ninja & Wiley test banks. No books or extra stuff this time. Main goal was to better prepare for SIMs and not fall for exam tricks.

Well, I got a 64 in my second battle w/ FAR. Strangely, I feel somewhat optimistic given the improvement from my first attempt. But I know I still have a lot of work to do. Congrats to everyone who passed!

Got an 81 on FAR. Seems to slowly be becoming a good number for me since I got an 81 on AUD last year as well. FAR is the third exam I have taken of the 4 and I keep honing my study skills. My process went something like this:
    1) Copy down Ninja Notes in sections
    2) After each of the sections (most Ninja notes have 5-8 sections), do all MCQs for that section
    3) immediately re-do the ones you missed and add your own notes to the Ninja notes you copied down in step 1
    4) After finishing all MCQs, you've forgotten bits of sections 1,2 etc which you did a few weeks ago, so RE-WRITE all your notes (a mix of Ninja notes and your additions as you did MCQs and noted your trouble spots)
    5) I usually run a ‘Detailed Progress report and copy to Excel. I filter the Average score column for the lowest percentages and go over those MCQs again.
    6) Repeat step 5 until the lowest average score you have for any given subtopic is 65-70%

This seems tedious, but as much as studying was hard, I did not want to have to do it again.
    Good luck everyone.

    FAR – 81 (01/04/16)
REG – 64 (08/26/15) – Coming back for you Reg!
    AUD – 81 – (07/06/15)
    BEC 02/08/16 Next week!

Congrats to everyone who passed. My first time taking any section. I attempted to knock out FAR.. got a 59 .. Which I am ashamed of.. sharing this because seeing others who have tried again really has given me encouragement. I'm going to take FAR again in April… and have BEC on 02/29.

I started this journey in Oklahoma in 2009. I passed Reg, Far, BEC, and could not get Audit under control. Got married, bought a house, sold a house, lost credit for the first three, and moved across the country. Last year I decided to get back into it, and found out I was pregnant shortly after beginning my review course. I stuck with it, and passed Reg, Audit, and BEC 4th quarter of 2015.

I took FAR again January 4th (8 months pregnant) and found out that I passed with a 77! I can hang up my CPA prep for good!

First post ever, I'm pretty late to the game, but a shocking 87 on REG! One down, three to go. I've been going to school full time and working as a grad assistant, but Becker has been my saving grace in studying for REG and soon AUD!

    REG - 87 - 1/9/2016
    AUD - 93 - 2/19/2016
    FAR - 86 - 4/21/2016
    BEC - 87 - 5/24/2016
