I took FAR couple of days ago and I am waiting for the score to release on August 4th. I can’t really think how I did on the exam, all I know is that my testlets went from Medium – Medium/Hard – Hard. I felt like I guessed 80% of the 3rd testlet, the testlet itself was very wordy with items that seemed a little foreign from what I had studied. My 2nd testlet was wordy but I was able to work through the problems. 1st testlet was straightforward. Sims were tricky but doable. People usually talk about the 2nd testlet being really hard, did anyone experience the 3rd testlet being the hardest?

I didn't notice testlets getting harder or easier but they say if you do well on medium you get hard and if you do poorly on hard you get medium. Maybe you did well on a hard 2nd testlet and got another hard testlet. If so, that's a good sign!

Whats the best way to take a bridge?

Aw man, I don't know, I feel all twisted. This was my first attempt and I couldn't tell whether my 2nd testlet was medium or not, it felt like it was slightly harder with more words, which gets me nervous because it makes me feel I didn't do well on the 1st testlet. I expected the 3rd to get easier, but I was all over the place on the testlet. I don't want to study for FAR again, I can't wait till 8/4 and move on to the next exam.

I felt my 2nd and 3rd testlets for FAR were difficult. Don’t worry, it means you basically passed before you even started your SIMS. I found I was exhausted after the 3 testlets and only correctly answered 50% of the SIMS, and passed with an 80.

But that’s the thing, if you get 3 medium testlets, you actually have time and brain power to do the SIMS, with difficult testlets, you don’t.

One thing for sure is that I took time on the 2nd testlet. When it came to the 3rd I was probably exhausted from the 2nd so basically I look through the question, if it was taking me more than a minute and half to figure it out then I took an educated guess and moved on to the next question. I felt like I zipped through the 3rd one and didn't feel confident on any of the answers. When I opened my Sims, I had about 1 hr and 50 mins to complete the exam. From the Sims I know for sure I got the research question right, so atleast I have 2 points.

I don't remember much about FAR other than it beat me up, I flagged a TON of MCQ, and I thought I bombed the sims. I passed. I think you will too.
