thanks cpa hopeful, i am not underestimating this test, im preparing like it was my first one…. although, i feel like im not putting 100% into it because i feel comfortable with so many of the topics already. IT wont be a problem for me, I have my first degree in an IT related field.. Im averaging a 95 on that portion of review questions…
Micro Economics is actually enjoyable to me…. dont know why, but it is…
cost accounting comes fairly easy to me….
the big thing im worried about are things dealing with investments and macro econ….
I've done alot of professional writing of memorandums and what have you with my time in the military, and now as an auditor, so WC isn't something I'm very worried about. I just need to punch out a shit ton of multiple choice questions and memorize some of the formulas for the financial management stuff… My finance class in college was open book, with a huge curve… so needless to say I never really learned anything regarding finance and now i am paying the piper….
worst case scenario… I am going to take off a solid two weeks in october when my wife has our second baby, so hopefully if need be I can use a good chunk of that two weeks preparing for retake if need be…
but i really really want to pass it this time so i dont have the added stress of if i fail, i lose FAR…
