    Hey guys!

Just looking for anyone who could spare some advice on how to address a new section after failing 2 in a row. My experience so far has been that I wanted to give each section a try at least once before I focused on any retakes. I scheduled FAR, REG and AUD during the same testing window since I wasn’t going to be working and based on my study plan thought I’d have an okay chance at passing a couple. I passed FAR first and then took REG and AUD within 2 months of each other (including study time) and I failed both. I begin BEC today but have not scheduled an exam yet because I go back to work in a couple of weeks. I really hope to give BEC about 5-6 weeks of study time. However, this was one of the sections I was dreading since I struggled immensely during my managerial accounting theory class (we used Gleim CPA review).

Anyways does anyone have any ideas on a new way to tackle the next section? Right now I am using Becker and going through the lectures and after each section doing the MCQ’s. Failing really sucks but I’m worried that once I start working I may not be able to touch base on all the material in Becker.

    Thanks!

Take BEC as far back in this window as you can. Reschedule AUD for mid October. That will give you four weeks to restudy AUD and six weeks to study BEC. Tha'ts more than enough time, even if your employed.

So I should not start BEC but start studying again for audit and retake audit mid october then take BEC at the end of the October/November window? That does sound like a pretty good plan. I received a 69 on audit with only studying around 15 days so hopefully 3-4 weeks can raise that 6 more points. I can worry about studying for REG and retaking it hopefully Jan/Feb 2015 but will need to see with busy season. I need to pass these 3 by February 2016 and at this point that date never looked closer lol. Thanks 🙂
