OK, So I took BEC and FAR about 3 weeks apart in May and failed them both. 71 on BEC for my first attempt, 69 on Reg, which was a retake, I got a 55 in FEB. I ran with Gleim, but I am starting to find their loaded questions to be inefficient.

I am looking for advise on the order and timing for next window? I’m stubborn and really want to get these stupid tests behind me before they get harder in 2017. Which order should I do my retakes next window? I know for sure that I want to take FAR in the extended window, I made it through 3 modules in Wiley, but wasn’t super serious because I was waiting on score release. May also need suggestions on new materials (Not Roger).

I feel your pain and have been dealing with the whole scheduling strategy the past month or so. I too failed REG with a 69 when i took it in May. I also got a 74 in BEC a little while back. If i could choose based on your situation, I would send in the application to retake REG asap and study while it is being waited on to get approved. That way, come the beginning of july, you'll be ready to knock it out. I would then probably take on BEC at the end of July and give yourself a whole month to take FAR in September.

Materials wise, I would strongly discourage the Becker videos and highly encourage the old fashion way of reading each chapter 3 times over. Dont get too tied up in the details of each page but definitely be able to recite what the main concepts are before you leave the page. Third time around reading, I would do a high level skim and take note of main concepts you aren’t grasping. After the readings I would knock out the MCQ section by section. I can say that ive been doing this while studying for BEC and it has been night and day for me. I’ve also saved a lot more time study wise. Supplement with Ninja MCQ if more time is available. Just my two cents…good luck!

    AUD - 75
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 75
    REG - 78
    It can be done!

    FAR - 75
    REG - 69, September 16
    BEC - 80
    AUD - 69, October 16

When you tried to take two sections in the same testing window you failed both, and now you want to up the stakes to three?

Sometimes its about the material, sometimes its about just doing things the right way and not trying to find a shortcut. I'd take no more than two exams per testing window and frankly I think one would be better for you.

@mla11692 1 isnt even an option, as dumb as this sounds, i seriously dont think i have what it takes to bang out FAR in 1 attempt under the current format, that is my reasoning for raising the stakes. Since we have 10 extra days each window, it makes sense to give myself two attempts at it. Also, even without passing, either section this last window, I did better taking 2 exams 20 days apart than i did spending 90+ days on REG alone window 1 and bombing with a 55.
