Hello all!
I have my FAR exam scheduled for Oct 9th. If I keep it at that date, I will have studied almost exactly 8 weeks. I am considering moving it up one week. I basically following the Ninja framework while using Becker, so I just finished all the MCQs in the Becker hw this past monday.
To give an idea of my progress, I took the first Becker final this past wednesday and got just about a 70% on the MCQs and about a 75% on the sims (only did a few sims in the hw). I have been doing Ninja MCQs primarily since then. My average score on the Ninja MCQs is a 78% and my average trending score is an 82%, however this is only through 200 questions.
What does everyone think about moving this exam up? I didn’t feel all that confident with the Becker MCQs, but am feeling much more so in the Ninja ones (much more straightfoward, less math intensive). My concerns are forgetting material or getting burnt out.
Other factors are that I am scheduled for REG Nov. 24th. Taking it early would give me 7 weeks instead of 6. However, I have a rather busy week of school the week of the possible move up, including a midterm the night before the possible exam day. This is my first section that I’m sitting for, so this is all new to me. I’m trying to strike a balance between making sure I study enough and making sure I don’t review for too long.
I would love everyone’s input on this!
