    Yes, I know, I’m going to extra review gov’t. I have no idea why it’s so hard to grasp. I’m currently going through Wiley as well and plan to finish them by next week.

    HOWEVER, I have not done that many SIMs….What else would the fellow ninjas suggest to improve my scores? I also have a business trip coming up this week, which puts a small damper in my studying schedule as well. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I really would like to pass this sucker this time around. Please and thank you. (pardon the grammar)

    Your stats look good. I suggest doing some sims- EPS, consolidations and adjusting JEs are the most difficult for me. Good luck!

    Not really advice since my stats were nowhere near yours 13 days before FAR. I'm not sure they were there 13 hours before FAR. As far as SIMs, I started doing 2-3 a day in addition to my MCQ's about 2 weeks out, but that's just how I study for all sections. The SIMs on the test are so different than the ones I practice that I don't see a ton of value in spending hours and hours practicing them.

    I used Becker but I always left the SIMS until the last weekend before my exam date. I spent the whole weekend working SIMS and any MC I struggled with. I would spend most of my time on the MC and making sure I know the concepts and why each answer is wrong not just which answer is right.

    Thank you everyone!!! Your comments have honed it in, I'm going to try and finish all the Wiley questions too. I'm actually done with NINJA questions, aside from 26 Gov't questions but I'll tackle them on after I review for Gov't.

    Much appreciaton!!

    I wouldn't worry about sims too much. I didn't do sims at all. Focus on MCQs is my advice.

    FAR = 86 4/22/16
    BEC = 80 6/01/16
    REG = 07/26/16
    AUD = ?

    Your stats are better than mine were … I think you should just continue brushing up on what you do not know well (i.e., gov/nfp) for a couple days, then start methodically going back through all the material. I cannot say it enough, the thing that saved my butt was spending the two days before my test methodically going through each and every topic in Becker and doing 10-20 questions per subtopic. There were some items that I learned, but had forgotten by the time I finished the material. This refresher was what recalled it to my consciousness. The sims are really luck-of-the-draw … I feel so fortunate that I got sims that I knew how to do (a huge part because of my two day comprehensive review).

    Almost always from my phone... please excuse my typos!

    @hasy your stats are actually great. Do some more gov and I like your chances. As for sims all I did to prepare was read the answers to the Ninja sims, I felt like that was a big help.

    I see you passed BEC. How did you prepare for it, and what would you recommend I do to pass? I take it July 26th

    @cultur3, hey, I hope you find this. Your score on FAR would more than prepare you for BEC but if you understand bonds, the financial management would be fairly understandable. Make sure you review IT and COSO. I did not find a lot of COSO on mine but ehh. I'm a pretty decent writer so I didn't really practice WC, only read examples from Wiley and Roger's. Only what they're asking and use key words.

    As for passing, hit the weak spots. Like there's not much material for BEC so they tend to be very detailed. I think if I truly made an effort to learn PV tables when I studied, I would have probably got a higher score. Seriously, know NPV and IRR IN AND OUT. For BEC, I did close to 2000 questions…. so give or take.

    For SIMs I would practice percentage completion, inventory purchases and issues, FX journals, accounting treatments for available for sale, held for sale etc.
