Alaska repealed attest experience requirement

A while back someone posted about getting the CPA in Alaska. They said they couldn’t do that because it required attest experience. Alaska amended their requirements effective 12/25/15 to no longer require attest experience. https://aws.state.ak.us/OnlinePublicNotices/Notices/View.aspx?id=179226

Still one of two states to require 2 years work experience minimum in public or 3 years in non-public. Stuff like this does not make CPAs wanna move up here any time soon but at least I don't have to keep track of my attest hours anymore hah.
