Am I setting myself up for failure (FAR)?

I scheduled FAR for November 28. I’m on chapter 2 of Becker’s MCQ.

I’m not exactly reading.. but my plan is to go through the almost 2k MCQ, and then jot down areas that I am weak at, and then go read the book.

I work full time – pretty much away from 9-7 (including time spent on communicating, etc.. ). I can probably pull 1 hour before work, about 1 hour during lunch, and hopefully 3 to maybe 4 hours during evening each day. I have the full weekend to myself (minus house chores, etc, that I have to do…).

Is this doable?? I’m feel like I’m getting crushed.. any advice? Or do I reschedule for January? My score for BEC is pending as well until November 4. I was thinking about studying both at same time in the case that I fail BEC.. Since I’m fairly familiar with BEC ( I just don’t have confidence that I pass yet)..

    BEC: 69, 57, 72, 73, (anticipated for 4/4/2015)
    AUD: 65, 63, 74, 84!!! (expires 7/31/2015)
    FAR: 63, 57, (scheduled for 4/1/2015)
REG: ... 42, (Anticipated to be around 5/20~)

I don't know if this is true, but I get the feeling that you've bounced around from exam to exam. Working full time and trying to study for two exams at the same time is a huge stretch. I don't think that would be doing yourself any favor.

Stick with FAR and pound it out. You've taken it twice before so you should have a good idea of what you need to do to tackle it. Don't worry about BEC until after you get your score.

That leaves you 4 weeks for FAR. You've taken it twice before, so I assume you have a basic working knowledge of the material that is covered on the exam. I would bust my butt and take the exam at the end of November. You can't retake BEC until January anyway.

That would give you December to restudy BEC if you don't pass. Since your credits start expiring in June, you don't want to get down to the wire and end up taking multiple exams in the same window.

    Play it smart.

Don't dual study. Focus on one and finish it, then move on. Jumping around does not work as far as I can tell.

Thanks all for the advice and support. I'm just really stressed. I didn't plan on failing when I paid for BEC and FAR… But I'm just not as confident about BEC because of the writing part.. Oh well.. If I somehow pass BEC.. I really want to go out and buy you all a round of drinks… hahah.
