I was wondering how do I position amongst peers and what to look for in the future.

Maybe everyone could post the Bonus % they get and the # of years of experience they have in the field or company ?

I know that there is a different salary topic out there, Let dedicate this to Bonus, or both whatever you are comfortable with.

Me: 2 years of experience, 60k & 6% Bonus – Internal Audit Function 2 weeks of vacation

    Thanks for sharing 🙂

    @IS AUDIT

it's not really that strange. you're asking people to divulge the details of their compensation, and not all will be on board with this.

Hahaha, I'm not complaining, that is a good turnout actually… but honestly i was not aware of the traffic on this site, its pretty cool !

True Zieba, It is a touchy subject. especially that some people have usernames that would show their identity.

8+ years of experience, salary is $58k, bonus is generally 2-3%, we have a 35 hour work week, 16 paid holidays, 10 sick, and 20 vacation days. They also pay all of my med, dental, vision for our family and contribute 9% to my 401k… The benefits are AMAZING but the pay sucks, the 58 is after asking for a raise and FINALLY getting a $5k increase effective for 2014. Oh also they have paid all of my CPA exam and review costs and test days I take off without touching my vacation.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

I was curious. Since I looked, I might as well share.

8 years in accounting (4 with current company).

$41,000 (but with guaranteed raises to be over $50,000 by end of next year – still not great)

    19 days of PTO

    $0 bonus

Benefits aren't great, but I like that they are one of the few companies to still have a fully funded pension plan in addition to contributing to 401k.

I work in Industry though, not public accounting.

Studying with Wiley Review, Wiley Test Bank, Ninja Audio.
    Retakes with Ninja MCQ only...awesome!
    Far - 1/28 72, 7/22 79
    Aud - 2/28 70, 8/14 83
    Bec - 4/10 80
    Reg - 5/30 64, 7/2 82

10 years experience in Accounting/Financial Analysis (7 with current company–in industry)

Bonus is on a moving scale based on EBIT versus projection, 0% up to 20% but won't reach that with this economy 🙁

20 days of vacation, 6 paid holidays

Benefits suck, but my boss is very flexible and doesn't count any leave time under a 4 hour period in a day against my PTO since it is offset by how much time I work during month end.

    Hmmm.

I have close to 13yrs Work Exp. Started out as an Auditor moved to Industry. I am in the 70-75K range. PTO/Sick 17 days and Holidays comes to approx 10 days. Bonus is dependent on the Company's performance so it varies maybe 2K to 4K. There is a individual performance bonus but that is a new thing started so no idea what that will be.

Anyone else wish they sometimes awarded PTO days as bonuses? Most days I'd take vacay over $$. Although you sorta need one for the other. DERP

    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
