I just finished watching FAR 1 lectures with Roger. I'm planning on working and finishing FAR 2 and putting a good dent into FAR 3.

Since 2008....

I'm still here... about 15 minutes ago, I flipped over to my another71 page I keep open while I study, and no one had updated in at least an hour. I thought, "Where is everybody???" Then I realized it was Friday night and other people had lives. :(

My tee off time is at high noon, 12:00pm Saturday. I will walk a whole two blocks to the local library and be one with FAR Mod 9 and Mod 10. I'll return about 5pm to see how bad the house has been destroyed by the two hellians, shake my head and say, for sayings sake, "listen to mom"...make dinner and then find a new sanctuary at my former universities "open 24 hours" building somewhere about 7pm and push hard until midnight. At that point I better have got these modules under control...cuz there are plenty of additional modules waiting in the wing. Bed time now, I got a brain to sleep.

I am in. Last weekend before Tuesday's fight with REG. Yesterday was about 10 hours. Today it is off to the library for, hopefully, about 6 hours. Then Sunday, probably another 10.

I am in! I am going to shoot for 20 hours this weekend. We do not have much of anything going on this weekend so I will try to just stay focused as best as possible...I have FAR in 5 weeks!

I am just sitting down to start my first couple hours, I have gotten my workout done this morning and I am in my comfy sweats and Uggs hunkered down at the table. :)

My hubby pushed me to go with him to exercise this morning...brought my focus notes and studied while exercising!! Felt good...hadn't worked out much this week.

At the library..just took the sample test on AICPA site. I did well, except one sim I didn't read all the info (what a surprise--this is my biggest problem!!) and calculated depreciation myself and didn't factor in mid year convention, so all my figures were off by half :(

Ok, back to it! Love this thread!!

Well I'm calling it a night for tonight. I'm very impressed with myself, I watched all of Roger's FAR 2 lectures today for a total of 7 hours of study time. Let's see what tomorrow will bring. Maybe finish FAR 3?? Or at least put a big dent in it!!

Is that hard studying at Panera? Between the food and noise...I would be useless :)

I am happy our library is open....plus it is newer so there are plenty of areas to study in addition to private study rooms.

How do you feel so far on REG (besides the sims!!!)?

I did 6 hours yesterday and just finished up 8 for today - finished up BEC 3, completed BEC 4 and am now half way through BEC 5 - yuck. Taking a break for the Pats game now and will get back to studying after, although I don't think I'll make it to 20 hours for the weekend. Good job everyone!

@yankeeaccountant It's not ideal but it's the only place I have on Sundays. For some reason, I cannot concentrate at home. I guess there are too many other things I should be doing (laundry, cleaning, living LIFE etc...) Plus, my brother was diagnosed with cancer about 3 weeks ago so that has also been a BIG distracter too..

I am only through R5 with Becker but I am scoring 85-90% on MCQ with Passmaster and about 80% with Wiley. I do not even want to talk about the SIMS. Most of the time, I have no idea what they are looking for.

FYI ya'll, if you have an iPhone, there's an ap called "Ambiance" (I'm sure there are others as well). I bought it while I was taking my accounting/business college courses so that I could study anywhere and not be bothered by noise. You can download different sounds, my favorites are "train", "rain on porch", and especially "box fan". I start them up, put in my earbuds, and a circus could be going on around me and I wouldn't hear it.

I am so sorry to hear about your brother. I hope that the doctor's prognosis is good. Must be tough having to focus with that going on.

I will keep you in my prayers!

Gotta get back for three more hours. Took a final in Becker and got destroyed this afternoon. I only got a 75 on one testlet. Seems like I gain momemtum while doing the homework--I scored in the 80's on all the Becker supplemental, then I get to the simulated exams and I don't see the same scores. UGH. Need to get it together my exam is Tuesday......
