    Hey guys!

So I found out that I didn’t pass REG the first time around last month and I’m looking for ways to improve and master the material again. I use Becker to study with and I’m planning to use it again and hopefully it’ll help me pass the second time around. Do you guys have any general advice in approach REG and which areas I should focus on? Apparently I did weaker on federal tax/ethics so I’m trying to figure out which chapters in Becker I should focus more this time.

Also, I just finished taking BEC today so I’m planning to start studying again for REG after the Thanksgiving weekend! And happy holidays to everyone as well! šŸ™‚

    FAR - 7/2/2015 - 86
    AUD - 8/4/2015 - 90
    REG - 10/12/2015 - 66, 86 (1/16/2016)
    BEC - 11/24/2015 - 82

    DONE! šŸ™‚

What I like to do is as most MCQ's from diff. sources as possible. So ninja and other sources.

    -----------------------------
    BEC - 77, 03/2015 (first try)
    FAR - 79, 05/2015 (second try)
    REG - 83, 12/2015 (first try)
    AUD - 84, 03/2015 (first try)

I got 99 problems but the CPA ain't one.

Hey we're on the same schedule now with similar scores… I got a 66 on REG in Oct too. šŸ™ I was using Becker, felt like I prepared as much as I could with it. I bought the Roger Cram and the Ninja MCQs for my retake in January. Just took BEC this morning, so I'm going to take a few days to enjoy this weekend before I start again on Monday with the new material. Hopefully that works. GL to you!

Edit: and as everyone says on here I'm going to start from scratch. Not tricking myself into thinking I need only 9 more points when I really need 75 more points.

    FAR | 81 - July 21 15
    REG | 66 - Oct 1 15 | 87 - Jan 7 16
    AUD | 90 - Oct 29 15
    BEC | 86 - Nov 25 15

On REG, I tended to focus the bulk of time on taxation on the first attempt. On the second attempt , I focused a lot more of my time on law and I passed. Although the tax computations and rules can be tedious, there is a lot of non tax material to know too!
