Any Hope For Me on REG?

So now that the countdown is on, I’m feeling depressed because I’m realizing that there’s probably no way I passed REG. Has anyone had an exam experience similar to mine?

Basically, the first MC testlet was challengingish. I flagged a lot, but I always flag every single question I have a decent chance (i.e. 33%) of getting wrong, so there’s no point in telling you how many I flagged since not all are equal. The second seemed quite a bit easier and I flagged only 8, which isn’t bad considering my flagging pattern. The third one didn’t get any harder (flagged about the same). The thing that concerns me about MC is that they asked a lot of Blaw/Ethics questions on a couple of topics. I don’t think the Qs were “hard” but it was very much either you knew it or you don’t, and I only got 1 very involved calculation (which I actually think I nailed). Overall, MC was disappointing since the testlet didn’t seem to get harder. Worse yet, there was one fairly easy concept that got asked twice with different wording. Not happy with my performance there.

The SIMs weren’t a whole lot better. I had 6 of them. I’m very confident in the research question, which is good. There were a couple of slightly more manageable topics and I feel fairly confident that I got partial on both of them. What’s kind of disturbing is that, for one of them, I feel like I either nailed that concept (but still got a couple of the trickier ones wrong) or got it completely wrong since it was a calculation question. The last ones were so out of the blue. I might have completely bombed them and this is what is killing me the most. Both were calculation and were on fringe topics I didn’t pay that much attention to, so I don’t know. The lit was useless on them too.

So what do you all say? Anyone feel similarly and passed or am I screwed?

I was in your exact same shoes in January. I know it's hard, but worrying about your score is just going to get you worked up. There is absolutely nothing you can do about it right now. Try and enjoy your next 10 days off. If you have to re-take you will. If not, you're done. Worrying about it isn't going to change anything.

All the best to you on the 19th.

I had probably the max percentagesc(40% total) for both BLaw and Ethics when I took REG in January. I thought the MCQs overall were very easy as a result, because Becker's last 3 chapters are solely on BLaw and Ethics and I had just finished them. I walked away with an 87. Take that for what it's worth.

When you guys wait for your scores, do you try to be positive or is it better to stay negative and leave the potential for a “pleasant surprise” instead? These next 12 hours are gonna drive me nuts!

I think this time I'm going with the whole “I probably failed angle”; easier to deal with disappointment that way LOL

Dude just relax and forget about them. As soon as you walked out of the testing room, your fate was sealed. I honestly forgot the release date for the scores until my wife asked me about them randomly a few days before. It really is the best way to do it.

78 here and I'm done as well! So glad. And I thought I did worse this time than my 74.
