Anyone feel distracted at work because of the exam?

I have been at this exam for a year now and have two parts down. My question is does anyone feel distracted at work over this exam to the point that it is affecting you at your job? It is so hard to study and work full time and sometimes I feel very distracted at work to the point where I just want it to be time to go home so I can hit the books. Does anyone else experience the same or similar?

Yes. I feel distracted because this exam is always in the back of my mind. And on the days that I can get some studying in it's hard to get back into work when it's time for me to switch my focus.

    FAR- 85 I'm DONE!
    BEC- 75
    REG- 60,60,75
    AUD- 74,74,83

CPAExcel used for BEC, AUD, REG
Exam Matrix used for FAR plus NINJA Blitz, cpareviewforfree and a little CPAExcel

I find myself getting annoying by things because what I'm really thinking is…”these issues don't compare to the test I have to study for in 6 weeks, so leave me alone!!”

I agree. The hard part about working full-time and studying is I cant devote all my brain power to the exam. Some of it has to be used at work. I work about 45 hours a week and generally have more than enough time to study during the week but i feel the stuff i do at work interrupts by ability to retain what i study. Also, i think my boss gets annoyed that I am not devoting all my efforts to the job. He supports me to get the cpa but I know he gets ticked off when he sees me doing some review on the job and/or not staying late to go the library to study.

    FAR- PASSED (11/13)
    REG- PASSED (2/14)
    BEC- PASSED (5/14)
    AUD- PASSED (8/14)

If it's important to you, you will find a way. If it isn't, you will find an excuse.

@mjp44 Do you have any tips for passing FAR…I am gathering all of the advice I can get…

My boss came by to talk about work stuff and caught me with CPAExcel up and I played it off and said “Oh, I'm on my lunch break” lmao
