    Hi!

I’ve done ALL MCQ’s for Ninja, Becker, and Wiley… so why not try something else?

I actually find “CPA Review for free” a bit more challenging and “new” questions….

    Anyone can attest to that?

ME: feeling proud to be using “fancy” audit words…..LOL

    Thanks!

cpareviewforfree doesn't use AICPA released questions like Becker/WTB/Ninja does. That's why the questions look new and seem unfamiliar, they aren't written by the AICPA for the CPA exam, unlike the thousands of MCQs you've done from your various sources. So the wording, format, style of questions are all going to be very different from what you're used to and what you'll eventually see on the test.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, they aim to test the same information, but I'm not really a fan of cpareviewforfree. Their questions are hellishly long. People complain about Becker and WTB having wordy questions, cpareviewforfree is like reading a novel before figuring out what they're asking.

I'm finding I really like these – I'm gearing up for a REG rematch and the first time, I was pretty much just on the Wiley text with Ninja MCQ late in the game. My REG retention sucks with just Wiley; Ninja MCQ helped but I ran out of study time and bombed the test. I got turned around on a lot of concepts, and so far, these cpareviewforfree questions are helping me finally feel like I'm grasping concepts, not just memorizing rules. It's also helping me not blow through the reading comprehension before I answer the question.

I used cpareviewforfree to a lesser extent in BEC (along with Wiley book) and that's my only pass to date.

I think I'm stepping away from Wiley for future studying and going full NINJA/CPAreviewforfree.

cpareviewforfree.com was the ONLY resource I used for FAR. I googled a few times for clarification for other things but never had a book or notes or anything for FAR. There was a lot of luck in there too but there definitely is some value to it.

For BEC and REG I added a wiley book to cpareviewforfree, and between those and the Ninja notes I got past AUD on my 3rd try.

I used cpareviewforfree.com for every section to supplement. The questions are tough, so don't feel bad if you don't do as well on them.

    FAR 12/3/14, 87
    AUD 2/3/14, 90
    BEC 4/1/14, 88
    REG 5/27/14, 94

I have used it as a supplement for every section, their questions can be ridiculously long and challenging but they are very helpful and it takes your mind away from the usual AICPA questions we solve on a daily basis, however, I sometimes disagree with some of their answers. In a nutshell, I think it is a good supplement.

    REG -63│ 84!!
    BEC- 59│70│ 71 │78!
    AUD- 75!
    FAR- 87!

I used CPAexcel for the bulk of my studying, but I used CPAreviewforfree as part of my final review a few days before I took each section. I found the questions to be much more in-depth, longer, and a bit more difficult. I think it's a great supplement.

I have been through the MCQ in my two test banks probably a million times I feel like, I know i have memorized some of them. CPA review, wow, glad i got on there. They hit topics Becker never mentioned I feel like for BEC (take it on the 15th of august). Glad I'm doing this.. I know they aren't AICPA released but glad I've used it.
