    Hello,

I am currently in the process of applying for CPA License and a bit confused about what my steps are.

I have already filled out the form and sent to NY State Board 2 weeks ago. I also requested my employer to send to State Board my experience record. Is there anything else I should do? Such as requesting NASBA to send my score and my school to send my transcript, or those would be done automatically by NASBA?

On the State Board Website they seem to say that score should be sent automatically and the transcript would go along with the score. However when I called and asked, the State Board said they never received anything and told me to be patient, even though I have passed my exam over one year ago. Is this normal? Does the score get sent after my application is in?

    Thank you.

Email Tomu Itoh. He is the NY Coordinator at NASBA.

Politely include your jurisdiction number (which can be found in CPACentral account where u can check all your scores) and then ask him to confirm:

    1) That your scores were sent to NY State

    2) Your transcript was also sent to NY State along with the score.

I emailed the NY coordinator about my transcripts and the above person responded. He said that NY doesn't need my transcripts, but the 150 hour rule education history page. I think the page is listed on one of the sites. He told me he was sending it in to NY.

Hey guys, I'm also in the process of sending in my paperwork to NY. Are we supposed to fill out two Form 2's? That is the education paperwork and there is only one line for degree earned (box 9), so just wondering if we are supposed to complete this form for both our masters and bachelors or is it ok to just list the masters as degree earned?

I think Form 2 is consfusing. Going by the instructions, I think it part of the original application so I don't think it needs to be sent in again. I wish this state had better directions on applying. Instead they just give you a list of forms with instructions that seem to contradict each other.
