Applying for all sections at once?

I am just going through the NASBA application process and I see that each NTS is good for 6 months. Would it be totally ridiculous to sign up for all 4 sections in order to avoid paying the $150 again? Assuming my application would be processed in September, I would have Oct/Nov and Jan/Feb to take all four sections before the 6 months would expire.

What state are you in? California is for nine months but I wouldn't apply for all four at once. You will likely just end up wasting your money.

If you aren't working you could definitely take all 4 in two windows

I'd encourage you to apply for one and see how it goes then sign up for the other three at once if it was manageable. Some people can pass all 4 in one window. Others take every last bit of 18 months. You won't know for sure which type you are until you've taken one.

Thanks for the input. I definitely would love to knock them all out of the park right away but I know that might be too much to expect.

In regards to the question about which state, I am going to be testing through Colorado. I am especially concerned about timing because after July 1, 2015, their education in lieu of experience licensure pathway will be phased out.

I did just that. Ordered all 4 tests at once and took them over two windows. Passed 3 of the 4. Definitely doable.

I signed up for all four while working part time and taking 4 college classes. Definitely doable. Paying for it kinda pushes you to study.

I'm in the process of doing all 4 at once. It really only requires about 3 hours a day of studying, even with some days off.

I applied for all 4 at the same time, but I only passed 3/4 so I would've been better off if I had only applied for 3. That being said, I was in school part time and working full time while taking the exam, so if I hadn't been doing one of those things I'm sure I could have passed all 4. It just depends on how fresh the material is in your mind and how busy you're going to be.
