Attempting to Fix Poor Study Habits

I’m scheduled to sit for FAR on 4/20. I should be finished with the first go-round of the material by 4/3. This gives me 17 days (including 3 weekends) for review. Is this enough time for a review? When I took REG & BEC the first time, I skipped any type of review because I was tired of the material/lazy, and that resulted in a 73 and 74 in my first attempts. I really don’t want that to happen with FAR, so I’m trying to reform my ways. Any advice would be appreciated on how to pass this thing on the first try. Or even if I don’t pass, at least I’ll know it wasn’t because I didn’t put in the effort. TIA!

I'm right there with you..Mostly I'd re-watch all of the lectures and re-do corresponding MCQ again and once I would be through it'd be exam day and then sit for the exam as a final review lol. People say to only focus on your weak areas but I just do everything so I don't forget how to attempt my strong areas :/ In the two week final review I just went through all of the MCQ for audit again and that was it.

i dont have any experience in FAR but like you said, not doing any sort of last review seemed to hurt you. There were moments a few days before the test that I was ready to punch myself in the face because I was so tired of going over the same material over and over again. I sucked it up though and whenever i felt like this, I would take an hour or 2 of break time and than just get back to it. I would just recommend not to skip anything and make sure you review. If you want motivation, just look at your scores from the times you did not pass and try to remember how bad you felt. Than look at your passing scores and remember how awesome that felt. good luck

Tough times don't last. Tough people do.
