So Im making my way through Becker AUD material, taking it 7/31. Im on A4 right now and I am having trouble reading through the book after lecture and before questions, it’s so boring. I am scoring pretty well on the MCQs, getting between 75-90 on all sections but I feel like its not as stuck in my head like some FAR stuff because there is no calculation or method to do it, its just memorizations. Anyone have any tips or tricks? I have the Becker flashcards that are ok and am planning on reviewing with Ninja flashcards when Im done with all the Becker material but would love some suggestions!

    Cheers.

I honestly felt the same way when I went through AUD. A4's a bit of a wall. Transaction cycles are boring. Doing two sets of 130 questions sucks, even though I averaged 80%+ on the homework. There's a lot more minutia and it's not as easy to remember because there isn't math or formulas.

You're doing fine. Personally, I think I understood the audit structure much better when I went through the book / questions / notes a second time in my last-week review period. You probably will too.

    FAR: May 1st, 2014 - 91
    AUD: May 29th, 2014 - 97!
    BEC: July 16th, 2014 - 91
    REG: August 29th, 2014 - 88

Thanks for the reply James, I am hoping all of the stuff will come together upon review. I do find the book material to be easier to read when I can associate it with problems. The good part is that the problems take at least half the time for me to get through, doing a section of homework in a day is a lot easier for AUD than it was for FAR for me.

Best of Luck on BEC, and congrats on the great scores.
