   a) pls does anyone have any pointers on how to tie up my studies b4 taking aud exam next week tuesday??

   b) shld i go thru the textbook or solve more mcs from wiley or gleim (which one is best for last minute practice) ???????

   c) are u allowed to wear back braces to sit for exam in prometric??????????

   d) any other ideas?

   e) my advice for emergency is to have tylenol or advil incase u develop headaches or stomach upset like some people here who ended up not finishing thr test ....this is yr best precaution!!!!!!!!!

   of course i am dead serious as i have an exam on tuesday..................why do u ask and why the cynicsm?? is it exam nerves or what???

   i asked some simple questions and threw in a great advice that has worked for me and cld help some of those here who complained they cldnt effectively complete thr exams due to tummy upset and headaches!!!!!!!!!!!!

   Short and sweet: keep doing the mcq's. I agree with Mylife though, not sure of the tone of your post. In any case, I don't think this exam in particular is one that is commonly not completed in its entirety. This exam out of all four, IMO, and I would go so far as to say for most people, has the most generous amount of time. Granted there may be people who finish the exam, but not knowing how to interpret/answer the sims, leaving with plenty of time to spare. But I haven't seen anybody post that they couldn't finish Audit.

   this is my last section and im very nervous and embarrased bcos i cant seem to pass aud after passing the others 1st time around in very short time frame...and saved it for the last thinking it was the easiest and now have used up all my windows for it..way too emabarrasing for me and my family talk less of all the money spent...

   mw3 is a video game.

   yeah im going to try to focus.. theres this weekend and next weekend's a 4 day weekend so im going to drop off my router and ps3 to a friend today.

   i'm using yaeger/wiley and a becker pdf for mcqs. here's the thing... evidence and reporting (2 biggest sections) are kicking my butt.. I can't retain the information. I'm too retarded for this (serious).

    thats what i thot but if u listen carefully to yaeger lectures u will learn it especailly evidence.............reporting is tricky but gets easier.................just keep at it!!!! u may squeeze thru...................

    I wouldn't fixate on how much time some people have left at the end of AUD. The first time I took it (massive fail) I left with over an hour left. I had very good reason to leave with that much time remaining, nothing to do with tummy aches or headaches or even frustration with the exam.

    Second time I took it (failed by 4 pts) I used all the time available to me.

    Third time I took it, (had a score of 84) I had an hour and 20 minutes left when I walked out. I answered each and every question without missing a single one. I even took a break between testlet 2 and 3 to get some water and clear my head.

    My point is what works for one person on this doesnt work for another. I would never be so bold to assume much less state that some people couldn't complete their exams effectively.

    @nnenna, I agree with @Yankee and @Mylife. What are you trying to convey with this post? No offense, but maybe if you wrote a little more formal or without so many abbreviations, it would be easier to understand you. Since you seem to be giving advice on AUD...     somebody here mentioned her stomach started growlinga nd aching or something and so cldnt complete her exam with a good head and another had a headache which an advil on hand cld have cured. i plan to take one with me next tuesday. taking no chances this time around....

    mla how was yr study diggerent from yr 71 and 84...pls do tell if u have any tips!!!!

    I bought Jeff's ninja notes and followed his suggestions of writing and rewriting my notes. The weekend before my exam, I did over 1100 MCQ's. No easy feat when you work F/T, go to school half time and have 2 kids but I pushed. Well worth the sacrifice!

    im using wiley right now in the library and thanks for reminding of cpareviewfor free ...i keep forgetting it... so i guess wiley is sufficient bcos i was bothered i was not practicing with gleim which may be more difficult but all over the place with 20 sections.... i will peek at cparevieforfree and see how it goes............

    i still marvel at 100 mcs in a weekend.............. have nothing doing and no rsponsibility yet can hardly do more than a 100 mcs a day... how pathetic is that !!!

    It seems like you are panicking. You won't be able to retain anything if that is the case. You need to chill out and calm down. I know you are frustrated and you need to pass this test, (we all do) but you need to take a step back. I'm not trying to be rude. However, I know when I was overloaded with studying, I kept missing answers I knew. I would put it up for the night then go back at it the next day.

    I make myself stop at 6pm the day before I test. About 1-2 hours before the test the next day I review the Final Review notes with a run-down of everything, then I go in and take the test. You must have a clear, rested mind to do well.

    I hope I haven't offended you. I'm just trying to help you, as are the others who have posted.

    CPAReviewforfree allows you to practice all available questions ( 584 for Audit) if you register (for free) with an account. It is really easy, and I find the Audit questions quite relevant.

    i am practicing with cpareviewfree but u can only test 20 questions in a go............how i wish i cld test all 584 questions this wknd to solidify............

    twest u r right i need to relax bcos i have put in enough hardwork for these exams, but i wish i had notes to browse thru all at once......

    I gotta say, I agree that nnenna seems to be posting too much in this thread (and please, for the love, take the time to spell out whole words), but I've read this thread twice now looking for offensive tone or rudeness, and I absolutely do not see it.

    Perhaps nnenna has edited his/her original post, but if not, those jumping all over him/her might ought to step away from the computer for a while and then come back and reread with fresh eyes, because it looks like you're overreacting and conveying an unwelcome tone for this forum, which is far worse than panicking about your own exam.
