February score release update:
http://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-results-february-2010/
O.K. Guys. Audit is my last exam and I hate it! I do not know if I am going to pass. I could use another month to study. However, there is a silver lining behind my dark cloud.
Auditing is different. Unlike BEC where the review courses cover different subjects, Audit only covers 5 topics! All the review courses cover the same topics. I use Roger as an introduction to a subject, then I go to Becker's "lecture." I then use Yaeger because Gary is very strong on the multiple choice questions! I do the multiple choice questions in Becker last. After I come back from the exam I will start with Gleim's questions. I will not stop studying until I get confirmation that I passed Audit.
I want to put this baby to bed!
Has anyone else ever done this....I showed up for my exam a day late. I can not believe I did that. I was 'early' and ready and then the proctor told me that she did not have me on today's list. I feel like such an idiot!!!
Jeff,
I'm pretty new to this forum and have a couple random questions for you. You say you are "about 50%" on predicting the score release dates for wave 1. Is your prediction usually too early, or too late? And what is the typical variance, like a day or so? Also, once the BEC scores are released, do the rest always fall into place? Like once the AICPA releases BEC scores, will the AUD scores ALWAYS be released the very next day?
Thanks, love your site!
So what does a "new simulation" mean, does that mean all the tabs or some of the tabs are different. I took my exam February 5, and was wondering the likelihood of being in Wave 1.
polarbear - A "new simulation" means that this is the first time the simulation has been used on an exam. If you get a new simulation you are automatically kick to wave 2. Only the AICPA knows this information. Testing on Feb 5 should put you eligble for wave 1. Historically only about 75% give or take of those tested get release in wave 1 except for BEC which is always near 100% since there are no simulations on the exam. Good Luck on your score.
Does anyone know if specific statistical sampling formulas are a topic that is covered on the exam?
Can we please get a score release???? Once BEC comes out I'll be praying for AUD......
me too......I can't study for REG...I hope tht will be my last one
Is it pathetic that I've been checking this site all day, even though I know that nothing is being released today? :)
@S00NtobeCPA don't worry, I do the same thing.. you are in the same boat as me with this being the last one.. best of luck!! i know i have a rather large party being planned in my head for this weekend if things go as planned/hoped!!
S00NtobeCPA- I am doing similar thing....but in different way....I set up NASBA score page as my webbrowser's home page with nts and dob....So every time open my webbrowser...my heart bit goes up....lol
Screw the planning in my head--I've got the party planned either way I'm going to need a drink!!!!
Me too!! This is my last section and I can't wait for this to be over! I really hope they start releasing scores soon!!!
I'm going to need a drink just to calm the nerves of anticipation.. is 8:30am too early? I'm just hoping tomorrow is the day, as I'm not sure how much longer I will remain sane.. missing by 1 point last time has made me equal parts angry, frustrated, nervous, anxious and probably a lot of other things I don't even know the word for. Good luck all!
I keep hitting refresh on the forum hoping Jeff has posted an update.....ugh....my last one....the wait is killing me. It sucks to think that there could potentially be two releases (BEC and REG) before they get around to AUD......
Common AICPA, start the ball rolling....
hey guys- best of luck this week on the releases! anyone know what time during the day tomorrow (2/17) we can expect NASBA to release the AUD scores?
I don't think we'll have AUD scores tomorrow from NASBA. For that, AICPA would have to release BEC and AUD today and NASBA would have to do their thing in 24 hours (which they have done before). I'm thinking more like Thu or Fri if BEC goes out today. Typically NASBA posts around 9 pm EST.

Everything is just a prediction, but its also likely everything is off a day due to the Holiday yesterday. Thus, BEC MAY come out today, but who knows... Than possibly an AICPA Aud (or Reg) on Wendesday for a hopeful Nasba release on Thursday.
Unless we learn from Jeff that the AICPA releases AUD today, you can pretty much forget about any AUD scores on Wednesday
AICPA still hasn't released BEC, so the earliest BEC will post of most likely Thurs. I am sure it COULD happen tomorrow that they are released and posted, but I think it's unlikely.
So, with AUD next in line, I am just praying that I'll see it on Friday so I'll have the score before I sit for BEC on Monday!
FWIW, I think NASBA starts posting at 7pm EST, and is typically wrapped up by 9 EST.
thanks for the details, i appreciate it!
Jeff,
Please let me know when can we expect NASBA AUD score release. Can we get by friday. This is my last section and cannot wait to get the score
PAP -
Jeff won't know until BEC is released by the AICPA. At this point, I have a feeling his guess is just as good as ours. Once AUD is released, I'd say to count on 2-3 days for AUD to post.
If BEC comes out tomorrow...NASBA by Thursday...AICPA releases AUD or REG Thursday...AUD or REG via NASBA on Monday...that's my guess.
so If I am in CA, will I get my score before NASBA? Is that how it works?
Hey Jeff-
i was wondering now that NASBA is getting their scores for BEC tomorrow, when will AUD be released? I really hope its before the weekend.
Thanks
