BlondeAccountant - it's my Birthday too!
I am sick of waiting
Passed in IL with a 93, yay!!!! The BEC plus AUD only two days apart gamble succeeded!!!!
Good Luck to everyone still waiting!!!!
8000000000 IL posted! im done....CPA. taking the 4 tests is worth the feeling you get when is all OVAHH! MERCY!
Whyyyyy are the rest of the Cali scores not here yet? Can't take it anymore
You may be in Wave 2 BlondeAccountant. This is why this process is so idiotic. Wouldn't it make so much more sense to actually KNOW if you're in Wave 2 and not and not just wait around at the mercy of AICPA??
Damn right. Zena what state are you in
Colorado
any news from CO- Nasba ..
Any Hope for NY
anyone from PA waiting for aud?
Don't feel too bad Blonde Accountant. I'm in CA and haven't gotten my score yet either. It seems likely that more scores will come by Monday because if the AICPA released scores Friday afternoon perhaps the scores released by CA were the only ones they had time to verify that afternoon and then release as a batch at 9AM. Just a theory, but it seems like there are a lot of no scores from people in CA.
philly87: yes, I am, but on the other side of the state! Any word on PA?
Also, is there a good chance a lot of us are in Wave 2 since less than 5k scores were released?
I hope more IL scores are coming out Monday. I did not receive an advisory score:(
rjr5023 and philly87: I m also from PA.. Waiting for my aud score... no wave 2 plzzz... i hope we get it by Monday..
Even though is saturday I get butterflies when 9pm eastern approaches!!!
tmccarron, me neither. I am going to be so sad if I have to wait another month.
any idea for NJ????
I guess we all have to wait till monday evening...Good luck everyone...!!!
Congrats to those who passed in IL....good night
I didn't even bother checking today because I'd figure that the CA BOA would be closed on Saturday. WHOO HOO I PASSED AUD. I still kind of fail because I have to go and put in another 14 hour day tomorrow. Got to love busy season in the public accounting world! At least this will give me some happy thoughts knowing that I'm one step closer to being done. Good luck to everybody else!
so jeff when s audit expected to be posted by NASBA?
monday mid day or monday night or tuesday??
I think, we may get Nasba score on Monday afternoon after 1.00 pm
hope for the best
I wouldn't expect to get them until Monday at 9pm-ish at the earliest. I'll pass along any status updates on Monday.
-Jeff
Only good thing is that I worked by butt off this weekend here at home as I know I'll be non-productive likely all tomorrow day and night while stressing out over the wait, and praying to be in Wave 1.
is there any news on Virginia score release yet? They're usually one of the first ones to post, but I haven't seen any information about them posting any scores.
I am from Philly, PA and I am awaiting my score as well. But I logged in to NASBA via the NTS jurisdiction # and it says my scores were received and will be mailed. So it's just a matter of them actually posting the scores on the site. This my first section being taken so I am pretty nervous! Good luck to all!
So, if I'm in IL and didn't receive my scores on Saturday, what does that mean? I'm hoping there are more scores released on Monday, but I don't really understand why they wouldn't release all the scores they received at the same time....
Emma - Yeah, I don't really understand this whole system. I'm pretty new to it all and it doesn't really makes sense. If it wasn't for this discussion board, I'd have no freakin clue what was going and where my scores were! HA
I agree, without this website I would be at home rocking back and forth and hitting F5 continuously on the NASBA website. I take FAR in a week and this weekend has been a crap shoot ever since hearing that Alabama has their scores. I just want to slap NASBA around for toying with my sanity...
AriBlue... Can you explain what screen/web page you viewed on the Nasba site to confirm that they did receive your score. It seems your saying that its possible to confirm that a person is in Wave1?
Did you visit this page here?.. https://onlineapps.nasba.org/oasis/cpaesOasis.php
I just checked my Jurisidiction ID, and it tells me "All or some sections of your Notice to Schedule (NTS) have been attended but scores have not been received."
It also tells me an Application date in December 2009, which looks like it could be the date I purchased my NTS
As this is my last section, I'm hoping this does not mean I am in Wave2.
Where did you get your Jurisdiction ID? Is that your section ID on your NTS?
Your jurisdiction ID is different than your NTS. You should have been one of the very first things you received when your application was processed, and you were given a Jurisidiction ID number. Alhough its never worked for me, you should be able to also purchase your NTS online by logging in to NASBA with that ID as well.
At the risk of sounding stupid, I only have my NTS e-mail. How could I find my Jurisdiction ID if it is not in my NTS e-mail?
ptmuldoon,
I just tried your theory and I believe you are correct that you are in the 2nd wave because I am on my last test and I got a different message. Sorry for the bad news!
Thanks ptmuldoon. When I go to that link and enter the information I get the same response you got. That makes me think we are Wave 1. When I go to this link https://onlineapps2.nasba.org/candidate/entrance?set_theme=NASBA&site=CPA_IN and enter my jurisdiction # to reapply I get a message saying "We are sorry. Our system shows that you have already passed all parts of the Uniform CPA Examination. If you have questions, please call your Coordinator at the number given below. Please call the number below.
800-CPA-EXAM
615-880-4250". That makes me think I passed...but who knows!!!
See if you can use that link and just change the "IN" to your state abbreviation.
Jamie- I got my jurisdiction ID off the the score report NASBA mailed me. Not sure what to do if you only have your NTS.
Yeah, I save everything pertaining to this test and I do not have it anywhere. I just want to know if I am wasting time checking on my test score or if I should just prepare to wait another month or so. I had never heard of the Oasis screen before.
ptmuldoon - I apologize for my last message. I misread your post. My message said "The section(s) of your Notice to Schedule (NTS) have been attended and scored. The score(s) reported generated a score notice to be mailed to you." I have to agree with PeterOlinto4President in thinking you are in wave 2. Again, sorry for any confusion I caused by misreading your post. But maybe still try that other link I just posted and see what message you get.
I tried the link and changed the state abbreviation to MO for Missouri. It allowed me to use my SSN. I have a hold on my account because I have not sent in my final transcript from grad school, which I expected, so I have no idea whether my score was received or not.
I applied while only enrolled in the classes that made me eligible to sit for the CPA. Missouri allows you to do so and sit no sooner than 60 days before graduation. Looks like the same old waiting game for me, but at least I have the application page saved in my favorites...
Any news if FL first wave scores have been released yet? Is there anyway to find out if you were in the first or second wave in this state? I just want to know! This is my last test!
Jamie,
I got my jurisdication ID from trying to register for a new NTS. I enter my SSN, State & birthday, then it takes me the screen where you pick which exams you want but the jurs. ID is up at the top. I tried this to see if my score was in but my NTS had 2 exams on there-one I took Jan 27th & one I'll take Saturday so I just get that not all of them are in yet. Good luck!
I get this response:
All or some sections of your Notice to Schedule (NTS) have been attended but not all scores have been received.
Which is true, not all have been received b/c I haven't attended them all yet. Just praying for good news on Monday evening with the NASBA release!
Update #6: Alabama
The reason why Alabama AUD released so quickly for NASBA is because it was set up that way when AL joined NASBA for score releases.
My contact at NASBA said that the fact that AL released indicates the system is working properly and other AUD scores should release soon...probably Monday.
-Jeff
Thanks for the update Jeff! You are the beacon of light in the black hole of score release process.
So now, this begs the question, rhetorical, mind you, that if AL can be set up to release faster, why wouldn't all states be set up the same way? Is it that the rest of us folks not from AL enjoy waiting for our scores a little longer?
Jeff I will buy you two beers if you can get your friend to make Missouri the same as Alabama for releases so weekends like this are not an issue going forward. There are definitely some frustrations that come along with this process. I remember thinking that people are stupid for getting so frustrated, but now that I am in this boat, I COMPLETELY understand. This is only my first section, and I already think NASBA sucks at score releases...no clarity whatsoever about what is going on!
Jeff - So since I'm from Alabama and didn't get my score, does that mean I'm in the 2nd wave?
if my OASIS reads --
The section(s) of your Notice to Schedule (NTS) have been attended and scored. The score(s) reported generated a score notice to be mailed to you.
If you do not receive your score notice via US Mail after the next 10 business days (domestic) or after the next 30 days (international), contact our office at cpaexam@nasba.org. Please provide the following;
* your name,
* your jurisdiction,
* your jurisdiction id number,
* your complete mailing address, and
* in the subject line - Score Notice not received.
and the score is for my last section - did I fail?
I wonder why AL is so special to get an early score release. I wonder how I can get GA on the same schedule as AL. :-)
robbiej - why does that make you think you failed? It looks like it just means that your score has been released and you should get the paper copy of your score in the mail within 10 days.
I thought others are saying that if this was the last section for them that it was showing them that they passed all 4 parts? or is that the re-exam registration only
I think that is the re-exam registration
I want to finish not to be done with the exam but to be done with the entire score checking process...=\
I hope its come out tomorrow....tired of waiting......its a killer
When I go to the Oasis link, I get the following message which leads me to believe I'll be in Wave 2
"All or some sections of your Notice to Schedule (NTS) have been attended but scores have not been received."
For the people who get "The section(s) of your Notice to Schedule (NTS) have been attended and scored. The score(s) reported generated a score notice to be mailed to you." I think it's pretty clear you're in Wave 1, and will be able to view your scores online tomorrow when NASBA uploads them.
By the way, I'm in Missouri.
i believe that if you still have tests outstanding on your NTS that you havent sat for yet, your going to get the message
"All or some sections of your Notice to Schedule (NTS) have been attended but scores have not been received."
and if you completed the last one and have nothing outstanding to take on the NTS you get the
The section(s) of your Notice to Schedule (NTS) have been attended and scored. The score(s) reported generated a score notice to be mailed to you..
i dont think it has anything to do witht he wave's bc my last test had the first message but i was still in wave 1.
i could be wrong.....who knows what really goes on @ nasba, just sharing my two cents.
hey jeff so does it mean we could get our scores on monday before 9pm-ish?? Since the system s working properly?
I am in IL and am waiting on my AUD score (took the exam in early Jan). Since others from IL already received their score, does that mean my score won't be released until March, or is there still a chance I'll get my score this week?
I hope I passed this one.....tomorrow.......sound like eternity.....
