    NINJA Question –

I’m taking AUD in 6 days. I’m using Becker and NINJA MCQs. With NINJA my current average score is 58% and my trending score is 57.83%. Am I totally screwed here? I plan on hammering away at MCQs this weekend, but I’m really not feeling good about this.

How many questions have you taken? How many have you not seen? How many do you normally do in 2 hours?

Total questions (1597) Total Answered Incorrectly(1229) Questions Not Seen(975) Total Question Attempts (757)

How many I do can do in 2 hours varies. If I'm answering correctly I can fly through about 45 an hour. If not, I try to make sure I understand why I got the answer wrong; therefore, I don't get through as many questions.

same boat – AUD in 6 days and I am trending 53 percent. The good news is I am starting to understand the questions and pick up on concepts. Therefore, I am starting to do a lot better! Hang in there and power through!

Keep hammering through those MCQs! You still have 6 days! Keep studying! Just because your trending/average score isn't at where you want it to be doesn't mean you don't have a chance of passing. I would study as much as you can and do your best on the test without worrying what score you need on the ninja mcqs.

I am also taking AUD in 6 days! Are there any particular topics that you are struggling with? Have you tried working on the Sims?

I have only worked a few SIMS. I'm struggling most with professional responsibility and transaction cycle questions.

In the next few days I would try to focus on your weak areas and also working questions from other sections. Also, try not to just work through questions for the sake of working through questions. The ones you work on between now and your test day make sure you are taking the time to understand the concepts. It will be worth it come exam day even if you dont get through all questions. I made that mistake in the past of focusing on getting through 1000 questions and not really understanding what those 1000 questions were really asking.

    Good Luck!

Any advice on AUD simulations? I almost feel like it is a waste of time to practice them….

Some people say that as long as you know the material you should be able to answer the SIMs and if you dont get around to practicing SIMs it is not the end of the world. The last time I took audit, I had the Ninja MCQs and I printed off the list that Jeff posted and I picked the ones that covered material I had seen before and struggled with and I worked through those. I also made sure I worked through the ones for my weak areas because it helped me learn the material. Maybe for every 30 questions you work through try to do one SIM.

For this go around I have a weekend that I have set aside just for SIMs. I will try and work through as many as I can that weekend and then just try to get through one a day after that during my review phase. I have failed so many times for doing things half assed I am not making that mistake July 2.

Focus on MCQs and your weak areas and at least learn how to navigate in the authoritative literature. That will help tremendously come exam day.

I am taking AUD for the second time on Friday. I am doing no SIMs. I will be over 3,000 MCQ's by Friday. Average score has been at 75 for weeks, Trending is high 80's. I will have seen every question by tonight , and not have any missed questions. Just going to run through Trouble Questions tomorrow night then take as many random sets of 30 MCQ's as possible. Good luck to everybody this week.

Saturday is the start of vacation , and also FAR.
