    BEC - 82
    REG - 77

Our value does not come from our skills and abilities, as good as they may be; it does not come from our GPA, our job, a promotion from that job to a better job, our success on the CPA exam, or anything of the like; but our value comes from the fact that we have a Creator who loves us, cares for us, and desires to help us navigate the rough waters of this life in a way that provides security, hope, and true, everlasting joy while we anticipate the life to come, with Him.

I passed AUD with an 84 in Feb. and am taking BEC next week. I felt that AUD was much easier. You know what you have to study and there are a few key areas. With BEC everything is random and all the areas you need to study are kind of small making it hard to tell what's important.

    AUD has lowest pass rate.

BEC has the highest pass rate so read into that as you wil.

AUD is 99.5% conceptual. Once you get the concepts down, it's not too bad. But they will try and trick you with language and grammar. AUD is notorious with having two answers looking correct and a single word in the question will determine which is actually correct.

BEC covers a lot of material but, generally, when you understand it, you've got it and can move on. There are some nasty and ugly formulas though. BEC is not easy but it's also not bad either.

If you're worried about time, both can be prepared for in a similar amount of time.

I think that Audit is a little harder in the sense that you actually have to learn and understand the material. As someone else stated the words get tricky in audit and they throw two answers that are correct and you have to choose the most correct one.

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - NINJA in Training
    AUD - 1/6/18
    FAR - TBD
    REG - TBD
    BEC - TBD

    AUD - 73, 72 retake 7/2/2016
    BEC - 8/20/2016
    REG - TBD
    FAR - TBD

I am so ready for this nightmare to be over. Been at this way too long.

I think it depends on if you work in public accounting. I thought Audit was the easiest of the 4 by far.

    BEC - 80 (Becker)
    AUD - 92 (Becker+NINJA MCQ)
    FAR - 87 (Becker+NINJA MCQ)
    REG - 90 (Becker+NINJA MCQ and Audio)

AUD has lowest pass rate and BEC has the highest nationwide at any given quarter. The population here is .00000001 of the candidate pool every quarter.

I thought BEC was a lot harder.

As far as the comparative pass rates, they may set the raw scores against the 0-99 range in a way that makes AUD harder to pass since it has a professional responsibilities component to it. Those are really important to the integrity of the profession.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

In my case, Audit was harder.

    FAR - 71, 68, 74, (8/31/14) 78 āœ”
    REG - 67, 71, 71, (10/18/14) 78 āœ”
    BEC - (11/29/14) 86 āœ”
    AUD - 73, (4/4/15) 86 āœ”

I can't believe this is over! 2 years and 3 months..

    Audit MCQ < BEC MCQ

Audit Sims > BEC Writing Communications

If you're in public accounting, BEC is probably harder. If you're not, AUD is probably harder. I wouldn't rely too heavily on the pass rates, we don't know how much they are modified by the AICPA.

    BEC - 72, 82! āœ“
    FAR - 80! āœ“
    AUD - 70, 92! āœ“
    REG - 74, 78! āœ“

I thought BEC was alright. AUD makes you think more, whereas BEC was literally seeing if you could memorize some formulas and paid attention in your business classes in college

Depends on too many factors … how much study time you have, how much interest you have in the content, your work experience and academic background, whether you're more confident with math vs. conceptual questions, etc.

I didn't take AUD as seriously as I should have. I did really well on FAR and REG and thought AUD would be a cakewalk, so I basically just read the text (skimmed through a couple chapters that didn't seem particularly consequential to me), did less than half the total MCQs, probably only watched 2 lectures. That's my mistake.

Taking BEC on Saturday, and I enjoy the material a lot more than AUD. I was a finance major, so I have more of an interest in econ, modeling, etc. I wouldn't say I have devoted significantly more study time to BEC than I did with AUD, but I do feel I am grasping the concepts a lot better because they are more familiar and more interesting to me. I expect my exam experience to be better than AUD, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's easier. It's just better suited to my strengths and interests than AUD.

AUD has the lowest pass rate, but if you told me that someone scored a 99, I would guess that they took AUD.

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 76
    REG - 92

In my opinion, I would say BEC is harder to study for but easier to take and Audit is easier to study for but harder to take. I feel like Audit will be a little easier for me because i like just dealing with reading, conceptual and memorization vs a whole bunch of calculations.

I think BEC is harder, as it has a lot of material / different subjects, some unrelated to accounting (Econ, IT, etc), plus all the formulas / ratios you need to know off the top of your head.

AUD is a lot more conceptual, so once you understand it and how it all fits together, it's not bad at all. I found Audit the easiest of the 4.

    AUD: 83
    FAR: 77
    REG: 86
    BEC: 86

    AUD for me.

I actually aced the MC, but Sims were brutal. I ended up with a 77, even though I scored “Stronger” in almost all MC categories, I bombed Sims and scored “Weaker.”

Give me written communication over Sims any day of the week.
