1)which section of the professional st. provides guidance for the management …………?

    2) what guidance is provided by AICPA prof. st. related to ………?

    AUD: 81 (Done)

I think guidance refers to the literature (SAS, PCAOB, etc) and section is the section. But the audit research is more tricky than the reg and far ones. The audit ones will usually ask about a topic and something more specific like examples, circumstances, requirements etc. So there could be a few sections that talk about the same topic but they'll be talking about different areas (examples, circumstances, requirements, etc) of that topic. What I do is search the topic in the search bar, pick the one that matches the question and then read the sections that are In that chapter and try to find the one that has the area the question is asking. Hope that helps.

I think you are misinterpreting the research question. All research questions ask you to use the authoritative literature to cite the section number for the guidance/procedure/requirements/etc. on such and such topics. In the case of AUD there are several authoritative literature (i.e. PCAOB/AU-C/ET/AE/AT) and each one has their own topic or section numbers. BEC research question only has one and that is FASB. You just have to search to find the proper section number to answer the question.

    BEC - 12/13
    FAR - 5/14
    AUD - 8/14
    REG - 2/15
