Just got my score in AUD – 73. 1st time I sat, I received a 74. I'm going to sit yet again for this exam in April. Let the studying begin (again)! 🙁

I'm back at is and so serious about the CPA exam in 2014. I have taken all the parts in sometime in my life and in a range from 2-8 points from passing. That actually motivates me. I know ANYONE can pass this exam. I lost 80 pounds last year and my biggest secret is consistency. I have never been consistent with my study strategies. I've used Backer, Wiley and Gliem. I currently have access to all 3 and have decided to stick with the one NINJA based study model.

N/I – Take notes on Becker Videos. I like all the memorization tools.

N – Do all the MCQ's in Gliem. There are 20 chapters in Gliem so you can really focus on smaller chunks of topics @ a time.

J – Rewrite ALL my notes. I have 1 book for Becker Notes and 1 book for Gliem nots from the questions.

A – Do Wiley questions for my weak points 5 days before exam. I memorize questions/answer with out even thinking so I'll use a second test bank to give me a fresh look.

I know if I stick to this program I will pass the exam. My goal is a 90% but I'll be just as happy with a 75%.

Taking AUD for the 3rd time in April. Just found out I failed BEC for the 3rd time. trying out the live class with Becker, hoping to meet some other people in the area studying for the same exam. Every time I fail I consider quitting but I really really really want to pass this time so I can finally say I passed and say goodbye to it! Time to get my study on, hello AUD goodbye life!

Planning on taking AUD in mid to late May, depending on my FAR score. I should know Mar 7th if I'll be re-studying for FAR or jumping on AUD.

Not going to lie… AUD scares me. It was not my favorite class in college and I often found myself confused. And I have zero real world auditing experience/exposure. Here's to hoping CPAExcel, the 10 point combo, and this board will be enough!

I am not a fan of the live Becker classes. I found most people did not have a test date and were just doing the class for course credit. Plus you end up having to re-study everything anyway because you are so tired in class. Check http://www.meetup.com to see if there are any study groups in your area. Also try other social media like Facebook/IG and Google Plus. I actually got better test scores when I just parked my self in Starbucks for hours at a time.

started Aud yesterday. Using Becker and getting extremely bored. I am trying a variety of tools to get me from dozing off in btw readings. I am trying to listen to lectures, read the section, repeat it out loud as if I am explaining it to someone else..lol (not sure how long that will last) and then writing the imp points and lastly, going over the flash cards before tackling the

MCQs.

Wow.. I make it sound as if I hv it under control. I am only 10 pages into the book :-/

Here's to hoping it gets better and easier. I am determined to do this. And I shall do this. I am planning to take Aud early May and will be sitting for Reg early April.

I'm writing my exam on April 24th!

My tooks are: Wiley and WTB, NINJA combo and BISK.

I have already studied 2 sections, this weekend I plan to finish “planning” and internal control.

I'm committed to pass this exam and I will do the necessary to do it!!
