@ragepsn29 – I am using CPAExcel as well…I have not fully understood yet about Internal Control and Audit Evidence but once I am finished with the whole process, I'll go back and dig more. I am now in Audit Reports. I really don't count the time and really just ignore about the time. As others have mentioned, it's quality vs. quantity. This is my study process —- Video Lectures/Text/MCQs…..Good Luck to us ALL!

Anything worth doing is probably not easy, but the rewards are worth it. (unknown)

Im in. I took AUD last December and scored a 62. Im using the Wiley 2014 book with Ninja audio and notes. I'm a decent way through the material so far. I should be finishing module 4 this weekend.

Ayafzal78, are you intentionally skipping A2? I'm just about done with A1 and found most of the material a little too simplistic, but I've got too much OCD to let me skip A2 and go into something a little more entertaining (everything in order….).

I reviewed A2 yesterday. This last week I spent on A1 and A2 and yesterday spent the day redoing MCQs n notes from A2 and today spending time on A1. Hopefully will be able to start A3 as well

Hi! AUD is my first exam. I am using Fast Forward Academy and just bought Ninja notes and audio (love them!).

I'm finding I can memorize the MCQ without truly understanding them. I have to switch up programs and resources so my mind doesn't just memorize placement of answers.

I understand audit concepts, but am concerned with remembering all the details. I'm going to start practice exams and SIMS and see how that goes. 7 weeks left!

@CPA50, don't discount memorizing the question. A lot of the questions you will see, will be similar or exact. Auditing is A LOT about memorization. Trust me, I've taken it 3 times! Only 1 point away, each time…torture!

@ayafzal78 I was so disappointed to only see one question on cost and it was the final question in my last testlet. They must have known I would knock those out the park! I hate econ and finance, but cpaexcel taught econ so clearly that I did well on practice mcqs.

Took my first practice quiz in wiley today. Got an 80. Not done with lectures and notes yet, but I was anxious about mcq wording.

Guys the weekend was not so productive as I expected – some unexpected personal issues came out – but I think I will be more focus during the week to compensate this.

My strategy:

Ninja/Wiley notes – complement with Wiley and Bisk.

WTB and Bisk

Intention: March to finish AUD and April just practice more and more…

@ Alicia I see you are taking Audit on the 7th. I am aiming for that date. how much have you done so far? I am using Becker and only covered 2 chapters. Started 3rd one yesterday. I am beginning to feel I am short on time and need to speed up things but don't think I can go any faster.
