Not sure how I feel about AUD. I was doing pretty well on the MCQ for A1 – A3 in Becker. Now I'm on A4 and having a hard time. Almost all the MCQ have multiple answers that look good. This is going to be rough….

    FAR 7/3/13 - 82
    BEC 8/21/13 - 82
    AUD 10/2/13 - 92
    REG 12/3/13 - 88

    DONE!!!! CA Candidate
    Beat the 12/31/13 clock!

Hello been studying for AUD since the beginning of August . I completed the videos ( Am using Becker BTW) and now am focusing on the Homework questions.. A4 IS KILLING ME ….. A1-A3 were ok for me I think with enough practice I should be fine but I am struggling with A4 I really want to complete all Home Work by the end of the month and focus more on the progress test and re reading the book in October. My aim is to take the exam in November.

I have no experience in Auditing so this is really tough for me. I mean the last Auditing class I took was back in college in 2005. I have forgotten everything and off course things have changed. Excuse the long winded topic but am terrified of this exam. I mean I was scared of BEC but it seems AUD is another beast of its own .

One good thing I really like the Simulations and I think I figured out a way to help me with the research sections but will keep practicing.

sarita — I am currently working on Audit Evidence which has like 106 questions.. Can I say I HATE AUDIT EVIDENCE. That is all :)… What H/W section are you working on in A4 now

    BEC - 69 (Feb)13 -7/20 85
    AUD - Dec-13 ( Failed), Feb-14
    FAR- TBD
    REG - TBD

Same as you, audit evidence. I really have to stare at the question and think about it for a while to figure out the right answer. It's taking so much longer than any other section.

Seems like you are pretty far along for testing in November. I have my exam schedule for 10/2. I plan to start A5 later today.

    FAR 7/3/13 - 82
    BEC 8/21/13 - 82
    AUD 10/2/13 - 92
    REG 12/3/13 - 88

I'm also taking AUD on 10/2. I took it back in may and failed. I was going to retake it on 8/30 but wasn't ready and I want to pass, so I moved it back to 10/2.

I have the most problem with those darn assertions.

sarita Honestly I planned to take it in October but I currently saying November because I have to finish all the MCQ's.. Re read the book again.. Then re-do MCQ's and Comp Test and finally buy the AUD Ninja notes as my last review. Then do the Becker Final Exam. If all is good then and I have a pretty good score will push my exam up. I really want to pass on the first attempt but Audit Evidence is killing me .. Just Killing MEEEEE!!!

Audit Evidence questions are super long I don't like that

wrxsti87 that's great that you are scoring around 75 am currently scoring 55-70 (55 started with Audit Evidence) on my first attempt. Which is expected because I have only done the lecture videos and nothing else. I just wanted to get an idea of how the questions are in order to know how to tailor my studying.

    BEC - 69 (Feb)13 -7/20 85
    AUD - Dec-13 ( Failed), Feb-14
    FAR- TBD

    @clarissa – good luck on your re-take.

I'm taking 5 weeks for a re-study and sit on Oct 5. It helps that I've remember a good bit of it, but I'm still having problems with reporting. It's hard to remember which report says what, and when to use what type of report.

I didn't do well on SIMS on my first try. Not sure how to study for that… other than go over some some specific areas where I thought I was weak.

Hey guys! I've been waiting for this thread to open! I'm taking audit on 10/19. Took it in May and failed with a 68. I'm still in the beginning stages though. I want to finish all the lectures this week and finish reading the book NLT next week. Then i'm going to dive into reading and rewriting the NINJA notes. Also have to start on my Wiley MCQs since my software expires on 10/10.

Some of this stuff sounds familiar but i feel like i'm learning all over again. Good luck to everybody and i'll try to keep up with you all daily until my exam.
