Also, I see people say besides research SIMS, they find SIMS word for word? I don't get that because I've used the AL in becker and I don't ever find them word for word. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

The AL in Becker is not in as much detail as the one you will get on exam day. As long as you know to use it and how to use it you are fine.

I would work questions and reading notes on areas you are weak on. I am not sure how the progress tests in Becker pull in information. During my final review I have Ninja MCQ and I pull questions from all areas and do sets of 30 all day long until I am sick of doing questions.

do you have his text? page 3-26

But yes, it says that other deficiencies (control deficiencies) could be in writing or oral communication while significant deficiencies and material weaknesses are required to be communicated in writing to management and those charged with governance

This question doesn't specify if those are significant deficiencies or material weaknesses so that is why it's not C. Report on control deficiencies is not required for those charged with governance, only for management and only if auditor thinks it warrants attention

in some situation, you only need to send communication to the charged with governance, not to management

I don't have his full book I just have the cram book. I am going to start re studying for my audit retake tomorrow reading the Wiley textbook. If I run into it I will be sure to let you know. I hate how audit is so tricky. We'll get through it.

Ninja SIM (#55) had a question on return on equity. The ROE ratio is net income divided by average stockholders equity. Isn't avg. stockholders equity the average of the beginning (previous year's ending SE) SE and the ending SE? The ninja answer just uses the ending SE balance and not the average.

tomorrow starts hardcore review. did 90 question progress test and got a 67% =/ been averaging high 60s low 70s (one was in the 80s!) i plan on starting ninja tomorrow and doing progress tests in becker. i want to do 200-250 questions everyday until 1/15 so thats 20 days which puts me around 4,000 questions on top of the becker questions i have already done (went through questions once gonna do second time). I hope thats enough!!!! feel so underprepared

Jackaroe I just double checked and ROE = Net Invome/ Stockholders equity

Seems like the Ninja MCQ is correct.

@ruggercpa2b – thanks for checking. Was at the end of doing 65 out of the 81 simulations – am on a SIM bender for AUD. The hangover is harsh. But another the feeling of another failure due to sims is worse….

@jackroe Any recommendations on good simulations to focus on? I'm just starting my ninja review right now.
