Well, every test has at least one research question.

I'm worried about the sims as they killed me last time. This time around I will at least use the AL feature hoping it helps some.

@ Tarheelgirl – the topics seemed on point with what becker tells me would be on the test, so yes, you should probably know sampling but i felt the test was really in line with knowing reports & evidence, which we all know would be tested heavily

    FAR - 81
    REG - 74, 87
    AUD - 88
    BEC - 88

    Finally.

kappa – 2 hrs! Bet you did good. For me, I took double your time. Lol. MCQ's were super long and wordy so you had to pay attention to details. The SIMS weren't that easy either. I gave myself 2 hr 15 mins for the SIMS and used every minute. There was one SIM I am sure I got it coz I was able to find it in the AL.

Yeah i must have gotten lucky with having questions that weren't too wordy. That's awesome you were able to find an answer to the SIM with the AL!!

kappa – You came pretty close to a pass on your first attempt of REG. How'd you prepare for that? I am dreading to study for it. Hated it in college. Have no clue about the subject. Don't know where to start. Lol. Any tips?

I wasn't the smartest with REG, let's just say that! I had given myself 5 weeks to study for REG – the date I took it was the last possible day my NTS allowed me to take it…I know…dumb lol.

I used Becker and some Ninja MCQ for Reg. Watched the lectures, then wrote flash cards and did the homework and sims. I then used Ninja MCQ for my “review” which was only about a week. I had written notes for ch. 1-5 in MS Word, but I honestly don't think they really helped me – I'm not sure why, maybe my mind just doesn't take it. I think writing flash cards helped even more, which is what I did for audit.

I'm pretty sure that if I had one more extra week to study Ninja MCQ's and Sims, I would have been able to pass. My trending score on Ninja MCQ's for REG was 71% and I got a 74 on the test, so I'd say Ninja MCQ was pretty accurate. Keep drilling the questions on there and make sure you're “getting” the answer (soooo important).

@CopyPasteMonkey – I am not scoring high too. You're not alone. we're in the same boat. It doesn't matter how low it is. It's the final battle that counts and it's how we use the information and retain it. ^_^

Sorry to add another post, here's what I've learned between studying for REG (bad) and AUD (better)

    1. Progress Tests: At the end of every chapter, I took a progress test for ch. 1 to the chapter I just finished. I did not do this for REG. This was huge in that it made me honest and reminded me that yes, the chapters I studied 2-3 weeks ago were actually important too =)

    2. Learn from your experiences: I took crazy notes for REG and they never really stuck with me. It took me like 1-2 days for each chapter just writing notes, which was ridiculous. When I took Audit, the only “notes” I took were for the answers I got wrong on the homework. So just keep track in your head (or write down) what may have worked or not worked for you in the past. Just because it helped someone else doesn't automatically mean it will work for you, everybody retains differently.
