AUD tomorrow

I’ve been following the forum for quite some time now, but just finally worked up the nerve to sign up and post. Tomorrow I have my AUD retake and since failing my last 3 (after passing my first 2), have become absolutely terrified of taking this exam. How does everyone deal with the crushed self esteem from failing? Does anyone have any suggestions on test day studying? I’m not sure if I should get up early and do some cramming or just read over my notes while having breakfast. It definitely helps to have this forum to see that everyone is dealing with similar feelings.

If you're burnt out on MCQ, then I would suggest just looking over your notes and save your quizzing for the exam. Look at the memorization items–lists, etc. to have fresh in your mind when you go into the exam. I suggest writing down as much of the memorization stuff on your white board as you can before you log in and your time starts. For AUD I definitely suggest using searching the AL for every SIM and not just the research SIM. It will help! Good luck tomorrow!

I am taking Audit on 7/31/14, I am using NINJA MCQ and Becker Books…..it that enough. Are there any journal entries on Audit sims?

Ninja wasn't out when I took AUD, but I would think that is enough. There can be JEs because there is overlap between FAR and AUD.

NINJA outlines the questions very well, that is why I purchased it. Hopefully that will help me out on REG and AUD, since I want to pass both of them before the year is over. SIMS on Audit could include ratios, journal entries, and stats. I highly doubt there will be sampling as SIMS, other stuff I should get.

I'm hoping Becker and NINJA MCQs are enough too. That's also what I've been using. The first go around I was only using Becker and didn't feel prepared at all for the SIMS and some of the questions seemed completely out of left field. Here's hoping that they don't seems so crazy this time around.

    Good luck on the 31st!

I just took Audit on Saturday. The mcs were okay but definitely the sims caught me off guard. I won't get my results until the first week of August. How do I go about reviewing and how long does it take? If I failed I can't take it again until October.

I'm in the same boat with you. If I didn't pass, I also wait until October to retake. I feel pretty good about how it went, but I felt good about the last one and got my worst score. The waiting is almost as bad as the exam 🙂
