Hi everyone,

I’m trying to figure out which audio product for FAR would be the best between Wiley, Roger, and Gleim? I have an hour commute every day and my boss lets us listen to music while we work. Does anyone have any first hand experience with these products?

I have the NINJA audio and I like it a lot…

FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

I have Ninja Audio, havent taken any tests yet but so far I love it. Not hard to listen to his voice over and over

Another vote here for Ninja audio. The full cpa course audios that are out there are just the audio portion of the full video lectures. The ones that I listened too seemed more like you would need the book to follow along. The ninja audio is perfect for commuting. They each average about 2.5 hours I believe so you can listen to the full audio several times in a week. I can say it definitely helped me pass my exams. They are condensed with need to know info, much like what is in ninja notes if you have those. I can speak for Wiley, and say its literally like listening to the lectures… which is NOT good. I feel like audio should be more of a high level summary of key points.. not another 1-2 hour lecture per topic.

I can also speak for Ninja Audio and say that its been a gem. I've been able to answer a few questions on each exam just because I can remember hearing something from NINJA during my commute. 🙂

Also, I could add I have Roger's review course… I do like his jokes and find the lectures very helpful. I haven't tried his audio, but I like getting a different perspective on topics. I also like that the NINJA audio is summarized and in a few hours I can listen to a summary of the major points with some good fact nuggets. It really helped me with FAR when I was totally overwhelmed with the material after finishing my review course lectures and not passing…
