“Back in the day”, the exam was only offered twice a year and you had to take all four parts over a span of two consecutive days. So, a candidate HAD to work thru all of the material for all four parts prior to taking the exam.

Having 18 months from your first section pass, I don't think there's any need to study for two parts at once. You have PLENTY of time to get thru the other three sections. I would recommend just taking them one at a time, and focusing all of your attention on one part at a time.

    AUD - 93
    BEC - 80
    REG - 86
    FAR - 83

    @Tripp11..

I totally agree with the logic that you mentioned taking 1 at a time..but for me I am more worried about August 2015 thats my cutoff for 18 month time spam. I am gonna sit for the Audit in 2nd week of November and if at all I fail than what to do is my biggest worry at this point.

That was the reason I posted here so I can plan ahead of time and select my next section…or I can say which section to take next…because I really dont want that my FAR expires…

Is there anyone who have been in such situation and thinking to take something else as well in same window?

    Thank you..

I look at it this way– studying for 2 at once makes it much more probable that you will fail both of them, forcing additional time spent studying for retakes of both. Concentrating on one at a time and giving each their due greatly increases the chances of passing both of them, taking less time overall.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

I'm with Kim – I don't see a problem taking two exams in one window (I'm taking BEC & REG this window), but I wouldn't try studying for both simultaneously if you don't have to. I took September (blackout month) and half of October to study for BEC, and started on REG right after I took that exam (scheduled for the end of November).

So I have two exams this window, but don't have to try to learn two subjects at the same time. You might consider structuring your exams in a similar manner if that would make you feel better about your August 2015 deadline.

I attempted to take two exams back-to-back and ended up failing one. In retrospect, I didn't allocate my time effectively and certainly think it's doable, but NOT advisable. If you HAVE to jam in two exams, do AUD & BEC. They have the least amount of material for sure.

While I don't recommend taking two exams in two days, I absolutely do recommend taking two exams per testing window (one in the beginning and one towards the end).

Yeah That sounds like a plan..taking one in starting of window and one at the end…

Thank you all..for your valuable inputs…

If I were to do this I would say that iI've noticed during my studies BEC and AUD have some overlap with IT and Audit procedures for the entity. But I don't think this would be wise, but hey a lot of international students and former CPA paper takers have/had to study all sections and sit for them all at once time over a few days.
