Audit busy season for hospitals?

    Hey everyone, does anyone know when the audit busy season falls if your client is a hospital? They have a different Y/E than public companies. Also, is busy season just as crazy? Thanks!

    Many hospitals are public companies.

    I'd venture a guess and say that many NFPs have a calendar year as well.

    I work at a firm where our main focus is healthcare. The majority of our clients have a 12/31 year-end, but several spread throughout the year with 6/30, etc. year-ends. With that said, our busy season is Jan-Apr. Slows down significantly after that, but there is still plenty to do.
