    I was doing some NINJA MCQ’s today and came across a 1933 securities question asking what it was. During my review I do not recall going over them (ROGER Review) and he said that we will cover them in the REG section. Are we supposed to know 1933 and 1934 Securities Acts for Audit or no?

    It's covered in depth in REG and touched on in FAR. I didn't have a question on it, but it wouldn't surprise me if there was occasionally. It can't hurt if you have time, if not I wouldn't worry about it.

    @EDM1204

    I would say its a safe bet considering a lot of questions relate to issuers. I know Becker touches on it in R6.

    @EDM1204 Yes, I would definitely become familiar with them. Just took AUD and a lot of the Ninja material was covered.

    You sure Roger doesn't have it? Either you may wanna relook or that is a book that may cost you over a year in efforts and alotta money. Took AUD about a few weeks ago, but I'm pretty sure '33 and '34 absolutely definitely should be mentioned somewhere? Maybe the chapter on submitting audited financials to SEC or SEC regulations(Title I or II of 34 created the SEC lol), or additional audit requirements like when they introduce the integrated audit? Maybe the section about submitting a registration statement(33)? I think even possibly the review service of financial statements, something about stating that an audit review report isn't part of the registration? You can't really speak about SEC without mentioning 34. And you cant really mention issuers without '33.
