Took Aud today … 3rd time. I swear their was only maybe 3 questions where it was a total guess, 6 more questions where I I was like it is between one of 2 answers, with the rest being 90-95% confident that I knew them. The only thing that is throwing me off was that the tests never seemed to get harder… So I am second guessing how I did on the test. The sims were pretty easy, I even got 2 research questions. Anyone have an experience similar to that and pass?

sat for AUD today as well – 7/5/13. I honestly thought it was much harder than any of the practice questions that I have been doing, and I have been doing a lot of them (mostly Wiley).

I was extremely confident going into it, but frustrated and depressed coming out of it. I would say 3-4 I had no idea about, and at least a dozen questions that I honestly was torn between two answers that could justifiably be correct…very disappointed.

I used Wiley books and test bank. I also listened to the NINJA Audio and used NINJA notes & Flashcards.

I used Becker and then got the 10 point combo after that last 73. I used just Becker when I passed FAR and I used Becker + Wiley for REG. About 2 years ago I took BEC and got a 74 2 weeks of study on CPA Excel.

My journey with the CPA exam has been a long process but I feel like I am almost done. Throughout that process I have tried CPA Excel, Wiley, ExamMatrix, Gliem and Becker. My current Formula I am using is Becker + Wiley questions. But if my work had not purchased the Becker course I firmly believe that ExamMatrix + Wiley would have got me the same results. I purchased the full CPA Excel course right out of college… HATED the program, it was boring, it was way to detailed, and felt like it was wasting my time so I didn't use it. Nothing pisses me off more than when a program says you must do ALL of our material to get the pass guarantee. Why do I have to waste my time on stuff I know already? ExamMatrix I honestly feel is the best program out there hands down if you have a solid accounting background. It just focuses on the areas where you need help. You start out taking like 1,000 questions, then it says, here is the areas you suck at… now go study them in the book and do the questions. By far the best for people who have the background and also are pressed for time. I bought 1 section of Gliem and didn't like that either. Once I found what worked for me I became more “excited” to study because I felt like I was not wasting my time and became a study-o-holic. Literally that is all I “want” to do right now.

I think that is one of the biggest things that you have to overcome with the CPA exam, finding what works for you and then just giving up everything else to get it done. Once I found want worked for me I found that all I want to do is study. I would rather study right now than sleep that is how bad I want to be done with this exam.
