Taking audit next week for the second time. Got a 65 the first time and I would really appreciate any advice. Does anyone think CPAReviewforfree.com is helpful? I also have Becker final review and the standard review software. Don't know what to expect on the simulations.

offlineMemberI think Becker is more than sufficient...I was clueless on a few of the simulation questions, and I made a 79 just due to the M/C. Becker M/C for audit are the best representation of what the exam will be like more than any part I have taken thus far. Also, do the two final exams on Becker because those simulations are a better picture of what the sims will be than the simulations for each chapter are. I glanced at cpareviewforfree, but all it did was put me on information overload!

My Advice is to SLOW DOWN in the MCQs! I average 30 minutes on the first 3 testlet and thougt the simulations were super easy! I knew the material and memorized every report possible, but I failed with a 70!
The exam is 4 1/2 hours, so take your time!
I finished the exam like in 3 hours 45 minutes cause I thought it was easy and just flew by the questions!
I don't have a clue where I went wrong, I'm still waiting for my offiicial score analysis.
I passed BEC with a 77 but faied REG with a 74. Now, I'm getting ready for FAR in 3 weeks and my confidence is shakened.
Which review course did you take for AUD? I'm using Yaeger....

offlineMemberBoth simulations I took consisted of clicking the right answer: T or F, then A B C D. The communications were very straight forward and the research I know 100% that I did right. I could've finish each simulation in 30 minutes but I took my time with them.....cause I flew by the MCQs thinking I would need more time for the simulations. I wish I could've have the time left over from the simlations to go back to the MCQs to double check my MCQs answers.....

I would recommend go over every MCQ a second time to ensure you understand the call of the question. Time is usually not an issue with AUD. I went over every MCQ a second time and still had 30 minutes left. I was not rushed through the simulations and even had trouble with one of the research and still had 30 minutes left over. I believe the MCQ plus the communications tab will make or break your exam. Good Luck.
