@cpa2be - you will most likely be in the wave 2 results in september. I believe the cutoff is sometime at the beginning of August.
Still waiting for score in PA. anyone else from PA receive their scores?
Took the exam 7/19...
Ive been calling 1800 CPA-EXAM this wholeeee week with the response of my score hasnt been received yet....I just got off the phone and they said they have received it and it will be realeased within 24 to 48 hours....mayb there is still hope??
Took the test on 7/26 in CA... still waiting...
Does anyone have any insight as to whether the latest group of 313 scores are borderline? I took my exam 8/10 and confirmed with NASBA this morning that they have my score. I am still getting the "in process" message with REG still left to take on my nts. The suspense is killing me...
I know how intense the waiting period is... no need to over think your score release though. I would throw away the idea that the latest score releases are borderline..... The members on this forum most likely compile less than 5% of the candidates waiting for their scores. So the results people post regarding their scores here are not a true representation of the total population. Regardless, I received my score lately and it was above borderline so no worries :):)
If its of any help I received my score this morning and it wasn't borderline (87)
OMG .....I called NASBA and they are saying they hv received my score and i will be able to see them within next 24 to 48 hours (Mixed Feelings) !! :/
WOW - just walked into my study and "CPA Exam Result Watch" has my score up and its a PASS!! This, after calling NASBA TWICE this week, and getting told I was DEFINITELY in wave two. I had thought that simply meant I would have to wait until the end of September, but decided to let the little Result Watch APP stay open anyhow......what a great idea, thanks Jeff for this addition!
@TXCPA84 & @LawCPAHopeful,
I wouldn't bother requesting a rescore. I though about it too when I scored a 74 on REG. I looked at the cost. It'll cost you the same amount to request a rescore as to take the exam. Also, it takes a while to get the results back from the rescore, so you could still loss those credits for the ones you have already taken. I would just go ahead and prepare some more and retake them. I don't think that there have been too many that have been rescored and gotten that 75 that you all need. It sucks and I know how you feel. Good luck in whatever you decided.
Heyy guys my CPA AUD Scored was finally posted this morning!!!! I passed with an 80
-MA score
Well, I took it July 8th, and still no score. Should I call and ask or just assume that I got a new sim and was pushed to wave 2?
I took auditing today at 12:00, I definitely failed. I am planning on taking FAR Nov. 16 and I guess I will just take off for 2-3 weeks and cram for auditing again once I get my scores and can reschedule to take the exam. Felt pretty good walking out of BEC and got an 88, but the only way I passed this thing was by a miracle (which I would gladly take :)).
got my audit score in the mail today...passed! that's 2/3 so far from my july from hell. fingers crossed for FAR...but concentrating on REG tomorrow.
What is the projected date for the Wave 2 Audit release?
Wave Two is projected to come out the third week of September.
H E L P !!!!
This is the second time I failed AUD !! first time 66, second 62..... Can somebody tell me which is the best review for AUD? (Currently, Im using BECKER)
Thank you
Cupcake... I have not taken audit yet but the other i have and the best way to get yourself prepared to continuously do problems. And problems from all different sources... becker.. aicpa... etc. If you're engaging in other activities and you feel that you don't have the material down perfect.. it might be best to put your life on hold and really knock this one outta the park.
Hello every one:
I will take AUD on 8/31. I am not good at simulation and writting. Any suggest about how to improve simulation and writting?
Thanks,
Cupcake - I passed AUD last week (my last part too!) after failing it the first time. Over the couple of years of working on the exam, I've only used Bisk books (I felt they were pretty good) and I've used software from Gleim, Bisk and Wiley. Of the 3, I felt Gleim was the best (as it relates to multiple choice since you have to order the Gleim simulation seperately). I felt the questions on Gleim were tougher and prepped me better. I did use their simulation software (online) and thought it was really good too. You are however, limited to how often you can review their online simulations. Also, I seemed to have less problems with Gleim on getting repeat questions during study reviews which burned me in the past by giving me a false sense of security. Bisk was horrible in regards to this. When they upgraded to 2009 version, half the features either didn't work anymore or didn't work properly so I completely dropped Bisk software (I still used their books). Wiley was ok in most regards but unlike Bisk and Gleim, didn't retain a cumulative score or a history of your scores. If I had to take it again tomorrow, I'd buy Gleim. Plus, you can download their multiple choice questions online - you don't have to wait for the mail.
Are different sampling methods tested heavily? PPS, MUS , MPU, Ratio? Taking it tomorrow, I failed last time (don't remember anything on the test), hopefully I am well prepared this time around!
I passed reg bec and far in 3 months and have been stuck on audit since nov 2009 . took audit 3 times (73, 70, 71) using becker and for my 4th time last week i used a combination of becker text and wily questions. I recommend using some sort of combo so that you see material from multiple sources. I know there are atleast 3-5 questions that i only knew from studying from wily as well as becker so hopefully that put me over the top this time.
I am absolutely terrified! I am taking Audit tomorrow for the 2nd time (got a 71) back in May. As I'm sitting here during my lunch hour, I have absolutely no idea what to review. I spent most of the weekend taking Becker exams and review questions and poring over my notes. Last time I took Audit I was pretty confident that I knew the material and this time I'm not so sure. Any last minute advice?
BEC 77; FAR 81; AUD 71-Retake 8/31; REG (7/23) Waiting impatiently

Hi, I failed Audit with a 74. any advise on the best review material? I am currently using Becker. Please advise.
Everyones experience/knowledge varies...
With that said, I used Yaeger and watched the lectures (20hrs), reviewed and did MCQ's (15hrs), and read the book where I was still not confident (10hrs). My background - graduated in May 2009, had a joke of a Auditing course senior year... Started my work in public in September (small firm - jumped right into the action) and took and passed the exam at the end of May...
thnx Trevor...appreciate your advise. will take a look at the Yaeger material.
cheers
Not a problem thats why we are here!
Hey guys, I took AUD on 8/30 and I felt really confident about it. Now I'm getting nervous because sometimes being confident about it is a bad sign! Yikes. This is my last exam. I think I felt good about it because I actually knew how to do the Sims, unlike FAR and REG where I basically guessed on the majority of the sims. Grrrrr....I hate waiting on scores! UGH.
