CPA Soon is right you cant go into the exam with transaction cycles as one of your weak areas. I knowingly walked into Audit knowing I was weak in Evidence and got a 66.

@ ruggercpa – when you say weak in ”evidence” what do you mean, can you be more specific? I only ask because evidence is such a broad term to me after studying audit…

It was the section that covered the assertions where you have valuation, existence etc. And I think transaction cycles also fell under that chapter.

absolutely everything, plus a little bit more. it is my opinion that this section is best studied through MCQ and SIMS… My book gives the cycles and the concepts but the questions are tricky and one needs an in-depth understanding which cant be attained by memorizing the cycle (which you have to do also to begin to answer the questions).
