I’m just wondering, those out there who are seriously studying and working insane busy season hours. Are you also fitting in time for workouts? What’s your daily schedule like?

    Right now this is mine:

Monday: Work, then come home, take care of the girls, then study for a few hours after they go to bed

Tuesday: Work, then come home, take care of the girls, then work for a few more hours from home after they go to bed

    Wednesday: Same as Monday

    Thursday: Same as Tuesday

Friday: Same as Monday and Wednesday

Saturday: Work, work, work, both at home and at the office

    Sunday: Study

Right now I’m waking up about 6:30 am and going to bed at 11pm. I’m thinking if I can get up at about 5:30am and get a workout in before I get the girls up.

Do you think that’s too much on someone’s plate? Or are some of you doing that already?

I’m not liking the way I look or feel and I feel like I need to do something soon.

Thanks in advance for your input!!

I am glad I am not the only one stuck in this quandry. In December, I started taking a 45 minute lunch break late in the afternoon so that I could fit in a Jillian Michaels 30 minute workout. Things were going great, I was losing weight and sheding inches. Then about mid January things started to pick up a little at work and I actually scheduled my BEC exam for the end of February, and bam out the window with my workouts. Now things are completely chaotic at work (public accounting firm w/ lots of tax clients). I have two daughters, 18 months and 9 years old, and I try really hard to make sure that I spend good quality time with them when I am at home in the evening, so after work workouts are not possible (sometimes I try to do it here at home and my 9 year old does them with me but the 18 month old likes to climb on my back when I am doing pushups and under me when I am doing planks, LOL). At this point I think that I will stick to portion control and eating as healthy as possible because if I add the stress of trying to fit working out into my day I overload myself and am a complete basket case!!! It does help that I joined a pound plunge in my hometown and have to weigh in weekly so I have actually lost 7 lbs in the last 5 weeks. My success has actually come from using the loseit.com website and I put in everything I eat and drink each day it tells me how many calories I have consumed.

And as a random thought we ordered chinese food at work last week so I put in what I wanted to order in the application, I was VERY depressed to learn that one crab rangoon has 844 calories in it (I usually eat 3!!!!)

    AUD - Oct 2011 - 79
    BEC - Feb 2012 - 84 (seriously thought I failed this one)
    REG - May 2012 - 84 (hmmm.....do they actually grade the SIMS???)
    FAR - Aug 2012 - 80

I must be dreaming.... am I really done!!!

@ MIA – I knew I wasn't the only one. It's funny cause my two girls are 7 years old and 21 months old, so we are in a very similar situation.

My hubby is bearly around during the week so things are absoultely caotic during the week. He leaves for work before I get up in the am and arrives just before bed time for the girls. He drives 1 1/2 hours each way to work.

Add on top of that I commute 45 minutes each way to work.

I'm trying to eat better and am doing Weight Watchers but since this last May I've gained 10 pounds and really fighting with those 10 pounds. But I guess not exercising, doesn't help the matter. Last May I was 2 pounds away from my pre-pegnancy weight, then it all went down hill.
