I was a good student. Graduated with only one B for my MBA and Magna Cum Laud in undergrad. I approached going back to school for the additional accounting classes and sitting for the CPA with the mindset that I only needed a C in those classes and a 75 on these tests. I had no intention of trying to ace this thing. That could be why I failed two tests. I'm not in public accounting and had no clue what the EWS was before I joined this board. I just want to make it through because once I have CPA behind my name it's not going to matter what I scored on these tests. 🙂

CPA Exam - Finally DONE (November 2014)
    BEC (08/10/13) 80
    AUD (08/24/13) 65 (11/13/13) 85
    FAR (04/12/14) 81
    REG (07/19/14) 69 (11/29/14) 87!!

I'm like Mamabear that I didn't even know what the EWS was before being around this forum. Had I known, I might've tried to get it, but I'm kind of glad I didn't because I don't think any employer would've known what it was, so it would've been wasted effort. I am generally a good student, but I've tried to start balancing the priority of the better score vs the other things in life, so I've become a less-good student just cause there's no need to be a good one. :-/ Not sure if that's being lazy or realistic.

Totally had dreams of it! Got an 80 on my first exam, and have been pushing for 75's since. 😉

Graduated with almost a 4.0 in high school, college, second college…. This thing is just a different kind of beast altogether. No comparison.

I looked at the pass rates as well as the rates of people who pass all four the first time, and I immediately forgot about it.

Too many variables to account for, especially the questions one receives on a test.

Kinda thought it was possible after my FAR + AUD scores. Then BEC made it so I had to get a 104 on REG and I missed that by a couple of points.

I do have a coworker who will get it, however, if he can get a 92 or above on BEC. I'm really hoping he does.

    FAR: May 1st, 2014 - 91
    AUD: May 29th, 2014 - 97!
    BEC: July 16th, 2014 - 91
    REG: August 29th, 2014 - 88

Nope. I knew I'd have to fight tooth and nail for every 75, and was grateful just to pass all 4. School always came easy to me-3.7 undergrad and 3,6 grad while working full time and raising 2 kids but I had no pretenses that this would even resemble school.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

A bigger accomplishment would be getting 75s on all 4 exams. That means you didn't study too much and you didn't study too little. You studied extremely efficiently. That deserves an award in my opinion.
